My wife and I watched the show last year. Your description is quite accurate.
As a whole I find the sitcom formula one I just don’t care for anymore. Last one I watched regularly was That 70’s Show, and since then I did watch That 90’s Show on Netflix but that was more because Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp WERE That 70’s Show and they were back.
Yeah, the kids’ stuff was good and all, but they were what I really loved. That dumbass.
Since then I’ve instead taken to watching the 30 min comedies that are filmed more like The Office was, although I admit I never really clicked with that one either. That was not filmed like a “typical” sitcom with a live audience and laughing.
What We Do in the Shadows, Space Force, Avenue 5, Ghosts, etc
Just finished S4 of “for all mankind” one of my favourite series and this one was one of the best after the first
That looks like I have to buy another Round Tuit:
So, I’m a little underwhelmed.
I was told to watch “Brothers”, with Josh Brolin, Peter Dinklage, and Glenn Close…
Many reviewers claimed it to be on the same level with Midnight Run, 48 Hours and so on but personally it hardly lives up to the promise.
It’s not… like bad… But it’s just not it, you know?
Maybe worth a watch since it’s free on Amazon Prime.
If you watch it, share your thoughts here… I’m curious to see if I’m just jaded or something.
If it is so-so, and I do trust your judgement completely, then the trailer itself is a masterpiece for making a turd look like a fillet. I am almost afraid to watch. Drinkage and Tomei live on high pedestals in my esteem. I would hate to watch them embarrass themselves. But I’ll be brave and watch soon.
This is my main issue- I’ve wathced so-so movies that I could still heartily recommend… but in this case? Darn…
I can’t deny there are a few cute scenes but then there’s so much drab.
I would love to have a second opinion though. Choices choices.
EDIT: look, if you can watch it for free and you are really bored- give it a shot and please let me know. I have been wrong before…
I really enjoy FAM. Last season didn’t have the same impact as the major climax in S3’s “save the Moon base” ending had, but it was still very good. I would rate S3 the best so far.
There is no right or wrong when it comes to movie preferences. It’s really all subjective.
Yes, however… I have a terribly hard time taking anyone who raves about the fast & furious movies seriously. Ymmv.
Stupidest series of movies that I had the misfortune to see even two of them.
Wheels
First ones alright
Quite like tokyo drift as well.
Tell you what the first three are almost always rewatchable.
I dont like the 2nd. Except the skyline. Thats the best character in that film
