I can’t remember where I heard it or who said it but… It is easier to teach a fast driver how not to crash than teach a slow driver how to be fast.

Stunning nonetheless… Our Autumns are glorious as well but I actually love winter where we live, not doing outside chores but snuggled up inside with the fire going. Summer, not so much - Hot (high 30’s celcius), flies and the ever present threat of bushfires.
We get at least one or two winter days like this.

But nah, not that time of year. Summer is out as well… too many flies.
Besides; as much as Aussies like to think they know how to BBQ, Southern US and Argentina have us beat hands down

OK so I do not have a photo!.
I took my wife to a conference this morning. Neither of us is in good health so I drove her and she worked for a few hours. On the way back we saw a traffic accident. It involved a dog, a car and a motorbike. I do not know if the dog was in the car or outside, but it was very dead. THe car windscreen was smashed and the motorbike was on its side on top of the car. Never seen that before. Seen plenty of bikes on or next to the road
I wanted a photo but did not want to intrude by going back to get one.

We are fine. No idea on those involved. Police and a fire engine were at the scene.

I should not have said I was bored over on that other thread … they have just started to put 4 way temporary traffic lights right outside my station in preparation for 5 weeks of digging the road up

Well, that roadtrip was a one way trip ending in the Dallas-Fort Worth area… we closed on our newly built house in late August.
