Ok as lee is closest and I’m bursting to tell
I’m building a MK6 Escort VAN.
With a 2.2 litre turbo diesel conversion. 460ish BHP and 4 wheel drive PLUS if the kit happens, a 4 wheel steer back axle from an EVO 6.
Painted in escort rally car maxi rally colours.
I drove it to the spray shop with the rear wheel drive blanked off and the small turbo and intercooler inop and it was seriously fast and more than a little terrible. Pushing about 230bhp currently as ive only just built the motor
However once ive got it dialed in and the rear steer working. Its going to be absolutely terrifying

So do i but i grew up with escort maxi rally cars and i worked on the steve hill rally team on Evo 5 and 6
Plus ill never afford a proper cossie so i thought id make my own with a twist
Plus i didnt feel guilty taking the chop saw and angle grinder to a crappy old van lol
