@Maico please please please bring that oshkosh to my house
Santa Ana’s are a common occurrence, even at the intensities I mentioned. What has been uncommon is the 5 power surges we have had since I posted earlier today. Fully expecting a power outage at some point today so I shut down all the computers and electronics after the second surge.
The things you find in a move… They will find daily use here…! Thanks again @fearlessfrog…
This reminds me that I should get a Mudspike mug as well!
Talk about taking astral photography to a whole new level!
Equipment used for this photo - A Challenger 650 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max…
You win! Awesome shot.
Today was Special. The Lieutenant called my office and asked me to meet him so I could tour the Airbase. He was working on radios on a Beach 300 series but across the way I watched some Apache’s start up and taxi. It was such a cool thing to see. Of course I could not take any photos but I had to share this anyway. The baddies have to think twice now that the '64s are here.
Al Asad Airbase, Iraq. Just a little different lol. Its cloudy and cold with a chance of Drones. Hahahaha
Those the ISR King Airs that L3 operates? I had a friend that applied for that job. Lots and lots of hours of circling locations letting the sensors guys do their thing. Quick way to build a TON of time…but that is some droning and droning flying…
That’s still a nice shot though!
The one i saw had so many antennae that i quit counting…
It’s the Holy RC-12 of Antioch. Thou shalt not make two-score circuits, nor shalt thou make four-score circuits, for three-score is the number of circuits thou shalt make until contacting Overlord for The Word from Above and no relief shall be given upon the righteous, for it please the Lord.
