Van is complete. I kinda hate it. I’m sure it will grow on me, but i really hate the layout so far.
In good news, the ducati is now absolutely beautiful. It will be going up for sale to buy a kitchen for the wife. I’ve had it 22 years. Ive had the wife 16…
I really hope you get what the Duke is worth. There is a 998R for sale here (imported from the UK because none were sold in Aus) - 1800km and they want $95K for it
I bought that bike 3 days after my dad died. Spent inheritance money on it so i didnt waste it.
Never ever dreamed it would be the value it is now. Thought it was a “safe” investment. But the thought of selling it breaks my heart. I don’t even know its true value. It will take a chunk off my mortgage and buy a kitchen. Good enough
It‘s just a Bike, man. Sell it while it‘s in good condition. And while it has not killed you yet. It‘s a beautiful symbol for freedom, but you won‘t be free when the bank chokes you for interest and your wife is unhappy with the new kitchen.
I have never had a passion for motorcycles. When I was 16 I had a little 50cc Simpson and I managed to scare myself on it a couple of times…so that bike would probably kill me within 30 seconds if I was to jump on and take it for a ride. So with that bias in mind, I’m with @Poneybirds, although giving up such a beautiful machine that you have obviously taken great care of would be difficult.
I was “working hard” today. A fear of flying course and two more trips in the 737-800 sim. Three trips in our F4 full motion sim. The last client produced his RN logbook. Sea Vixen fighter pilot with lots of carrier traps. After a staff tour he converted to the F4 but never landed it on a deck as Ark Royal was undergoing a major refit. Never landed a Phantom on a deck until today!
