I was on vacation in Denmark. Awesome, as always.

And look what I found. Had me scratch my head for a second. Actually, I am still not sure what it does there.

More from Denmark :denmark:

Here is two beers that I compared. Left side wins.

Also tried this one. Not bad but too much hop taste for me.

The case of the submarine gets weirder and weirder.

I am pretty sure that this is the UC2 “Kraka”, the second of three submarines (and the only surviving one) built by Peter Madsen (known for building those submarines, for founding Copenhagen Suborbitals, and of course for being in jail for murdering swedish journalist Kim Wall).

But all sources that I could find tell me that it is in a museum, in Denmark’s Technical Museum in Helsingør.
My picture was taken on Rømø, 275km away from there.

Has anyone been there lately? (Looking at @DanTDBV for example :slight_smile: )

Lots of reorganizing having to be done which is slowing down her progress quite a bit on this one.

We have a saying in Germany - “Der Weg ist das Ziel” (The journey is the reward)

Took that literally today and managed to turn a 17km ride into a 73km long one. The wind was pretty annoying and cold though

So many beautiful paths Derby. Are they bike dedicated, or do peds use them as well?

Mostly farm roads and some small country roads. The farm roads are generally closed for regular car traffic (except delivery drivers, people who live there and of course tractors) and the country roads barely have any car traffic.

@Derbysieger the endcap on your handlebar had me very confused. Until I realized it was your crazy kit reflected in the mirror.

Fun fact: that ride was fuelled by three bananas and the cycling kit is black with lots of bananas :joy:

Refuelling: mashed potatoes, fried onions and an egg

Western end of Cuba…

Honduras…it was 38C and about 98% humidity I think…ugh…I felt like a swamp…

Would have made it all the way back to Charlotte…but Tampa had other things in mind for us. Pleasant U.S. Customs (yay)…but then the ramp closed for an hour with lightning and storms…we just snuck in on 28 after microbursts closed 1L/R…

I wish it was still a little warmer outside but at least it’s sunny

Moms is having to be a bit more systemic than usual. There are so many pieces with similar colors and shapes that she has had to rearrange the pieces several times already.

Even the border pieces can be assembled in the wrong order. I did not think she would ever get that bottom left corner station wagon and parking lot area figured out.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I had to do a double take before I realised that was a real photo… Sims are getting way too good these days.

That’s funny. Every so often the conditions in the real world …particularly when there’s a low thick overcast layer and we are shooting an approach to minimums… reminds us of being in the simulator. I’ve said it quite a few times…“I feel like we are in the sim…”

Snuck the smallest one into laser quest, with instructions to tell everyone she was the requisite 6 and not 5 year old (no one asked :rofl:)

She was a bit spooked on the first game in the dark, but soon went full animal mother in the 2nd and did very well indeed.

Myself and obi smashed the hell out of the birthday party that was in with us and it was very fun treating lara like special escort cargo in between us :rofl:

LARA ON ME!

great fun :rofl:

I will not run, climb, or jump;

I will not sit, kneel, or lie down;

I will not cover any targets;

I will not use offensive language;

I will not make physical contact with other players;

I will play hard, play smart, and play to survive!

An entire chapter of my childhood.

Okay. Sorry but the 8 year old in me is giggling at Fahrt.
Nice, path. Is that a road, a bike path or a path for both peds and bikes? Sorry again (I"m Canadian) for going on about the paths. They just look so awesome
