Longs Peak in Colorado, it is!
It is pointing to some type of danger over by those trees! ![]()
From last Wednesday’s Sailing Race…not bad for a plane old iPhone X.
(Carriers Stennis, Eisenhower and Truman in the background)BTW, the wind died soon after sunset - the race was eventually called.
Beautiful sunset, @Hangar200!
We’re back in Auckland, sadly. Back to reality…
Some Fiji jets and Twin Otters at Nadi and a couple of pics from the 777 window seat returning to NZAA.
It was quite cool to see heaps of seaplanes at Nadi airport - they take off from the runway, visit the outer islands on the floats and come back to land at Nadi.
OMG! That’s some absolutely stunning, gorgeous, shots.
“This is the forest primeval.
The murmuring pines and hemlocks,
bearded in moss and in garments green,
indistinct in the twilight.…”
Robert Frost, from Evangeline.
I did that from memory; 8th grade English class…1976.
Most impressive!
And the little Robin is so cute. ![]()
Thanks guys. The weather has been fantastic for the last couple of days and I absolutely love autumn for photography. The robin landed barely 3 meters from me. I got lucky there ![]()
Some mushrooms on a fallen tree:
Gorgeous sky this morning:
Had a testing little flight out to bruntingthorpe this morning. CRAZY wind blowing my little sf25 falke all over the place. My ground speed in the way there was 31knots…
Worth it to take some blurry pictures of a victor though!!
I love bruntingthorpes cold war jets collection. It’s a great day out in the summer seeing them all fast taxi and run up the engines
Going to be a bear to taxi those three 747’s out of their hardstand. ![]()

My dream office. What a beautiful view paul.
Sure is a bunch of glass!
Looks similar to the Pro Line avionics on the ERJ…
