And there was no spoon.

I’d spoon with her… :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow! Looks like the display is drawing all the raster movements? I think that is what I am seeing. CRT raster drawing where the beam is not ā€˜off’ during the transitions?

I thought you’d be choking on your food laughing at the Mmo limitations placard… :snail:

It’s all just numbers… the view out the cockpit is the same. :salute:

This is who I think of whenever someone mentions The Woman in Red.

So I was fishing in Jekyll Island, GA and caught…this!

Now, to be clear, I wasn’t fishing FOR turtles…but apparently this little guy took an interest in my squid. Fortunately, I did not hook him in the mouth, but rather through the tip of his flipper. Snipped the barb off and the hook shank slid right out…so other than a fin piercing, he’s all good. Maybe he’s an emo turtle and I gave him a good spot for that hoop earring.

I did send that picture to my mother with the caption:

ā€œGood fishing tonight…I hear these are delicious…!ā€

More traditional catches…

!!! I’ve spent most of my life along the coast of the Southeastern US, and I’ve NEVER seen a Loggerhead in the wild. I’d say that has to be some kind of good fortune.

Glad to hear the little fella wasn’t injured - that’s seriously amazing, just in general.

A little wet out here in Cali. Here is an approach and landing at Burbank I flew in one of our K350s. I muted our N-registration from the audio. More info in the description.

Nice…as @Fridge was asking about in the King Air 350 thread…this is a pretty good example of the gear coming down at around 2:30 and you can see the props being moved forward. When you select the gear down and the props are not forward (2000 RPM) - you get a caution on the panel just reminding you that the props aren’t forward. I’ve rarely ever seen anyone put the props forward prior to the gear going out…usually (like in this video) it is done after the gear goes out. And like I said, some people (not me) will wait until touchdown to move the props forward.

Nice to see someone else using that crack between the windshield and the glareshield to hold the checklist card…haha…

Nice to see some weather in So. Cal…!

ā€œYou’re doing a swell jobā€ at minimums is a good confidence booster too. I usually say ā€œyou’re doing great…I’m closing my eyesā€¦ā€

What are the caution lights that come on at 4:42 right as you touchdown - beta annunciators? We don’t have them on the -200…those stood out to me…

I didn’t think the runway or ground were ever going to come into view.

I think the same thing on every approach… :see_no_evil:

Lol, maybe so but I am sure there are some more sporty than others.

Definitely. I might write a book someday. :face_vomiting:

@BeachAV8R Those lights at 4:42 are the L and R Prop Pitch annunciators (white). Once the power levers are at ground idle, the props are at least +2 degrees pitch and should be holding a minimum prop RPM of 1050. The lights verify it. Below 1050 and it’s in the resonance range which is no good for the props. The -200 doesn’t have it eh?

@wheelsup_cavu Yeah, we picked up the runway about 200’ above DA and had just the required visibility (1 mile) to land. Fun times! :sunglasses: #propsareforboats!
