Oui oui oui, gorgeous!
Is… Is that a passenger compartment with windows in the back?! I LOVE IT.
Good day at Kennedy Space Center today. Toured the 39A SpaceX pad (launch on the 29th June we hope to come back for).
Plus things like the VAB and Saturn V center never fail to impress with their sheer size.
Awesome pictures! Please post more when you get time.
ps: no pics of the Canadian arm?-)
Thanks @piper - ok, with bonus Canuck hand of space.
SpaceX boring looking assembly building. Saw a bunch at lunch and they all look 19. The new Blue Origin building looks impressive but told not to take pictures.
LEM controls. First person view Kerbal.
Apollo 14 capsule looking toasted.
Shuttle Atlantis (a 33 flight veteran) lucky enough to be in the photo with the Amazing CanadArm
Looking up the skirt of the STS. Is this a safe distance?
Thanks FF! Don’t know if you have children, but if you do and they were there, hope they were inspired to dream.
BTW, you should delete that last pic. Kinda looks pornographic.
Right now:
Earlier today:
It’s great to be back in the saddle after 12 weeks of being medically grounded.
Did you do the Saturn V exhibition?
Wow, angels fourty-seven! Pretty lofty!
There was some weather over the Houston area that was causing a rough ride at FL430, so we went up looking for smoother air. It was much better up there, so we stayed until it was time to descend. The airplane sips fuel up there, so it saved the boss some money too.
I see Osprey’s quite frequently on my commute from work back to Raleigh. Them coming to and from Cherry Point, and I guess refueling at RDU.
Just weird watching them. Not natural seeing an airplane with it’s wings rotated 45 degrees.
It’s nice of the plane to wake you up before landing though!
Beach! These were taken approximately the same time on the other side of the Atlantic!!
Refueling
Trying to find clear air to lowfly in western Scotland
I’m no expert, but shouldn’t you be holding the controls and flying the plane that close to the runway and not snapping photos? LOL…
You sent me the sun…! Thanks! My “sortie” was probably a bit shorter than yours. Paged at 4AM, completed a trip and back in the barn by 8AM.
Now - back to my coffin.
