I have family there - beautiful area, and the Flatirons are a great hike.
I think the Captain is trying to replicate the Navy’s sky dong contrail on the plotting chart…but I could be wrong.
Sorry for the EMCON lately. Either no cell or net or both. It has been kind of nice. Just got off of 8 hour drive north from Airlie Beach. Warning in new place says…”Be croc aware do not swim in ocean near sunset.”

I was driving to work this morning, looked east to the sunrise and thought “a bit similar colours to DCS 2.5 mornings today”.
I guess we are pretty lucky with DCS graphics when such thoughts come to mind!

Yep Wednesday is race day. Every other Thursday is Team Race day…we use the club’s Sonars…Team Racing is like Roller Derby with sailboats…a lot of fun.
Once we get all practiced up with our new boat we’ll be taking it to for the Wednesday races…perhaps a Team Mudspike Crew?

Goodbye Australia! What a trip of a lifetime… I can’t say enough good things about the people we met and interacted with here. The only thing missing was an F-111 doing a low pass over the reef while we were snorkeling…
