Amazing food and architecture, I can recommend spending an afternoon/evening in the Plaza Neuva eating pintxos and drinking nice wine.
Sailing Today…or Sunglass Modeling. L to R, My wife, my buddy Jeff (former P-3C pilot) and yours truly…a great day on the bay.
Ask Jeff if he knows a Pat McCaslin…another P-3 guy I know…
Will do.
Greetings from HK!
Crew not doing too badly after the first long leg from Auckland. I suspect the next leg to Helsinki (departing in 2 hrs) will be harder…but ah well, we’re committed now!
Flying our fancy new composite ride next though, that should be exciting:
FIA World Rallycross USA stage, as well as the American Rallycross seris (ARX and ARX2) final stage. I believe WRX has 3 or 4 more events, ARX is done for the year and the championship was up in the air this weekend as well. If you’ve never been to a rallycross event, and you can do so, I HIGHLY recommend it. In a 8 hour day, probably 4-5 hours had cars on the track, between practice, quals, and racing. The races are short, fast, and ridiculosuly fun to watch. No one’s going to get lapped (minus a mechanical failure) so it’s very easy to follow for the novice, the car in front is the one that’s winning. There is plenty of drifting, bumping, and even jumping. Price was good, $79 for seats in T15 grandstands, which gave a great view, for both days and paddock access.
I used to live a stone’s throw from the Arizona memorial (although they frown on you throwing stones at it) on Ford Island. Great, little aviation museum over there.
When they hear you start your engines I am sure they will think so ![]()
That top picture looks absolutely lovely
Took my 3 girls out to Patriots Point today for their Naval Aviation introduction.
