I hope that after Brookgreen that you continued down the road a bit and had breakfast or lunch at the Litchfield Restaurant.
Unfortunately, I had to hustle back to Charlotte since I have to work today - so we just headed to Georgetown and then caught the spiderweb of back roads to I-20. I’d never driven those back routes before and there were times I drove 20 minutes without seeing another car! I made really good time though - 4 hours flat from Brookgreen Gardens to Kings Mountain (25 minutes west of Charlotte).

It could have just as easily been Cheeseburger Night…when you have as freaky a schedule as mine, you never quite know what meal you are supposed to be eating…
Eat while you can, and you had better bring back food for the medical staff or you will never hear the last of it! I miss those nights.
One thing I learned really quickly when I moved to the States is that every day is pancake day here. In the UK it literally was a once a year thing.
When I went to London I had to get used to floppy bacon and beans with breakfast. Beans? Really?

The only thing I remember about London was drinking. The entire time I was there. I literally had to crawl back onto the A330 to take me home. Wow…17 years ago!

I remember the starting part…the middle is very fuzzy…the waking up in a snowbank in London and tracking my way back to the flat following my footsteps was a bit less fuzzy. Never going to Tanqueray again. I almost ended up like this guy:
