Catching up on mission development. Got snagged by a multiplayer Integrity Check error in the latest v2.1.1 release, but after a few days jonesin’ I got bizy again.
I’ve been working on a v2 Mission Template - that turned out to be a nice little mission on its own. This Mission Template has client detection features, such that the action in the mission is delayed until a client takes off or moves armor units. It contains mission infrastructure for briefings, repeating messages, Red & Blue win events and mission reload, and a timeout countdown. The structure follows the Flag Guide for group naming and flag assignment. This is a work in progress.
And from that, the 1st mission in the General Decker series begins. This mission takes off from the Mission Template to create a new scenario. General Roderick Decker, and his son Carlos Hannibal Decker, are waging a regional conflict against the Blue Patriot Alliance. General Decker ultimately wants control of Boulder Dam. Spies warn of sophisticated air defense purchases by the Red Decker’s Rebels, and there are rumors that he is assembling SA-10 battery components. If the RDR can gets this threat running then the whole Las Vegas region would be a no-fly zone. This is also a work in progress – at this point the SA-10 components are being tested to see which ones are needed to shoot the missile. The development feature in this version is Radio control of the radars. There are AI threats on both sides, so you can take a Red or Blue position.
The only known photograph of General R. Decker’s son, Carlos Hannibal Decker. He may look like a pansy, but don’t underestimate him –

The missions and Flag Guide are on my Wrecking Crew Projects site.
