Uggh…editing this post because it is total BS. sorry…see above.
Ah…now I see how Destiny gets to work!
I halfway expected to see a Starship SN-X landing in the background!
We not have 4 prop liners but we have this …
Guys I am so sorry for beating a dead horse. But there are two things that I am loath to do on this forum: misinform and maybe encourage someone to buy junk; and trash a good piece of work through my own negligence and maybe cause the loss of a sale. I came back to the 222 because it has received some positive feedback and my impressions just don’t jive. It turns out that I had control sensitivity set to zero rather than the “50” I have on everything else. Probably when I initially set up the profile I had meant to move the “stability” sliders and hit “sensitivity” instead. I would not have thought that this would matter if the player isn’t using a joystick-type controller but it seems that it does. It really is a very fine model.
That’s good information! It is always interesting to hear if specific dead-zones and sensitivities and curves can cause different modules (whether it be X-Plane or DCS World or whatever) to respond differently…or more or less realistically. It is probably one of the most often overlooked tweaks (and I’m totally guilty of it). Thanks for revisiting it!
I can imagine as a “tech” demonstrator this is a really nice tool though. I mean…that suspension modeling can probably be applied to aircraft and helos. X-Plane has traditionally had quite good ground modeling…much, much better (IMHO) than P3D and FSX. Nice to see someone exploring that area…
…but yes…I’d also enjoy a 4-engine prop aircraft…!
about that sensibility settings differ much the flight model behavior and perception i remember a master big fuss and flame war in the times c172 from a2a was released, was such that their addon was later updated to include a slider to adjust the sensitivity of yoke to feed and pleasure all people that have diferent hardware and fsx settings.
The developer at VSkyLabs pretty much develops whatever piques his interest at the time. I don’t think that he prioritizes what would sell well over what he will find interesting and fun to work on.
I know they have some funky addons like the small flying rubber boat.
new helo from Cowan in the works, great!
btw, LOL! from Discobot I got this :

Hmmmm. Let’s see. A collective slot that looks like a ■■■■■■. What could that be…?
Really? V. A. G. I. N. A. is not allowed. What ass decided that?
LOL! I cheated a little and checked the comments under the article
Ooooh! Great choice! He won’t even need a flight model. The existing free one is darn near perfect.
Science World!
Annual pass holder for 7 years, until the kids got bored of it. That and the aquarium are great for when it’s raining (note: it’s always raining).
I have the CYVR paid airport from the same developer and it’s nice. This is a nice freebie.
didnt expect it to be that fast out, nice
