It sure was.

the CRJ200SF version is a great one, it’s cool that you were allowed to share it with us.

Looks like ORBX has started releasing their Washington airports we loved so much in FSX for X-Plane11:

1S2 Darrington:

74S Anacortes:

WA56 Israel’s Farm:

Glad to have these favorites back, but I’ve ordered a 2TB hybrid SSD as True-Earth Wa and UK have filled up all my existing 1TB of combined SSD space.
PS. Looks like if you own these for FSX the 40% cross-platform discount shows up for these as well :+1:

I just picked up Darrington and Anacortes…

I almost threw Israel’s Farm in the basket too, but noticed that if you intend to buy the HD enhancement for TE Washington, Israel’s Farm comes with it. So, I guess I will wait on that.

Ah good catch on that one @PaulRix, I’ll do the same.

Anacortes… If this sim gets any prettier I’m going to quit flying and just stay at home.

This looks interesting. I’ve not bought or owned any of the SimCoders Reality Expansion packs, but I’ve heard very good things about them. They basically apply their own modifications to another product to make them more realistic (pretty much any Carenado product could benefit from more realism). The newest one is for the Carenado PC-12…so I might actually be interested in this one:

Ultra Realistic Flight & Ground Dynamics

  • Realistic stall speeds & behavior

  • Realistic climb speeds

  • Realistic cruise speeds

  • Realistic Weight & Balance

  • Realistic taxi behavior

Complex Damages System

  • Triggered by the pilot actions

  • Based on real world data

  • Target every system in the aircraft

  • Meant to teach you how to correctly manage an airplane

Economic System

Weight & Balance Tool

  • Load the airplane and check the C.G. and weight limits at takeoff and landing

  • The airplane behavior changes when the C.G. moves

Popup Kneeboard

  • Complete normal operations checklist

  • Complete emergency operations checklist

  • Complete reference tables (speed, fuel consumption etc.)

Simulation state saving

  • Every single switch and lever position is restored when you reload the aircraft

  • The battery may discharge if you leave it on and then close X-Plane

  • When X-Plane is launched, the engine and oil temperature are restored basing on the time passed

Maintenance Hangar

  • Engine maintenance tab

  • Electrical systems maintenance tab

  • Landing gear, brakes & tires tab

Interactive Walkaround

  • Cockpit checks

  • Lights checks

  • Aileron, rudder, elevator and flaps check

  • Tire check and choks removal

  • Pitot tube check

  • Engine cowl check

Interactive towing

  • Push, pull and steer using the joystick

  • Towbar simulation

Realistic PT-6 Engine Logic

  • Secondary fuel flow behavior

  • Realistic lag

  • Custom ITT evolution

  • Custom throttle dynamics (on ground idle, the first 30% of throttle directly controls the propeller pitch and does not increase NG at all)

  • Custom propeller governor recreating all supported prop modes, electric auto-feather included

  • Custom hot-start behavior (and damages)

  • Correct fuel consuption

  • Realistic startup procedure

  • Automatic startup procedure available to help newbies

  • Realistic engine temperatures

  • The engine parts are damaged if not managed correctly

Stunning sounds

  • Fuselage wind sound

  • Landing gear wind

  • Indipendent touch down sounds

Realistic Landing Gear

  • The landing gear is damaged by hard landings and overspeed operations

  • The brakes and tires are damaged if not managed correctly

Electrical & Avionics System

  • Realistic Battery

  • The avionics are damaged if on when the engine starts/shuts down

Native Virtual Reality Support

  • Complete support of new X-Plane SDK 3.0

  • Menu visible in VR

  • Windows visible in VR

Learn with the in-flight tips

  • A non invasive tip with a suggestion about the conduct of the flight is shown when you are not flying the airplane properly

  • A non invasive tip with a suggestion on how to recover the problem is shown when you damage the airplane

Custom simulation of Hypoxia

  • Tunnel vision

  • Hard breathing

Developed with love

  • Coded by real pilots

  • Very easy on FPS

  • Written in C++ with no compromises

… as previously implemented in the DCS Viggen…Dooh! :hushed:

It looks very comprehensive. Carenado aircraft are perfect candidates for this type of upgrade.

Geeze. Someone has not been reading my AARS from the Air Race thread ;-). I have been using the REP with the Carenado Beech F33A Bonanza (link)… I really like the walk around bits and the expanded ‘reality’. When I saw this announcement yesterday, I added the Carenado PC-12 to the short list for the next sale

I agree - I have the REP for the default Cessna 172 and I also have the Super Cub that comes with it. While I like my other modules (JustFlight Piper and Duchess, vFlyteAir Piper), I like the REP interface and options the best.

The Milviz Turbo Otter is out on the Org Store. I’m thinking it will be a great Air Hauler aircraft…

Hope they will port to XP also their PC-6

They have a few there that I would be interested in if they were ported over to XP11.
I’m probably going to pick up the Turbo-Otter. I skipped the Cessna 310 because I had only just purchased a 310 a couple of weeks before the MilViz version was released, and I didn’t see the point in having two of them.

So far I like it. She feels suitably heavy on the controls, and it doesn’t need a lot of runway. Definitely a nice addition to my virtual hangar.

This is a nice and unexpected surprise - FlyJSim have updated their original Q400 to what will now be referred to as the Q400 Legacy. Basically it is an update to their old Q400 (from ten years ago!) to work with the current version of X-Plane with some graphics upgrades as well. Important to note this is not the version of the Q400 they are working on as sort of a version 2…that one promises to be way more in depth I believe. But this is a nice little bump for those of us that have had the Q400 for many years.

  • Updated to 11.35+ flight model. Now with increased drag and better handling

  • Fixed engine start-up. This was an issue caused by system changes in 11.30 and should be back to the regular start-up procedure

  • Physically Based Rendering textures. Exterior textures should now have a more believable glossiness and metalness effect.

  • Menu graphics updated

  • Manual graphics updated

  • PFD colours changed. Should be much more vibrant to the eye.

  • Startup sound volume reduced

Sounds like a good way to keep the current crop of customers happy and maybe entice them to buy the updated version when it’s released. :sunglasses:

Exactly. And the panel does really look nice. They upgraded the EICAS page or whatever it is called…looks much more readable.

The external updates look great. I think they are aware of the nosewheel being sunk into the ground and are going to fix that.
