Holding off on XP 12 for a bit. Going to let the third party guys do their thing. Maybe wait for the 787 or the 777v2 to come out from Flight factor.

Iām planning to keep my XP12 install a bit more streamlined than I did with XP11. If I want to explore some random, out of the way place, I can do so in MSFS.

Iāve heard that a newer version of Ortho4XP is on the way soonish, so Iām not even gonna try and pretend Iām not going to fill up this 10TB drive with Ortho files.

That is good to hear. And I will be doing the same. 
For those that have it, does the A330 and B737 have a good FMC/MCDU? Like sid/stars function and TOD and TOC? Or is it the same basic features as previous x plane versions?

My understanding is, both planes use the existing x plane FMS, but I havenāt had time yet to dive in and investigate.

The A330 sadly have the default xplane boeing like fmc.
But for Airbus, now iām having fun with the already converted Toliss A346 and FF A320.

Felis XP11 Tu-154M (one of the best airliner ever made for xp) are now fully free.
Because its now unlocked and decoded, community are now working for a patch to make it compatible with XP12.

in stock XP12 its just roads and no buildings with trees and forests placed randomly
still thinking if offload of CPU workload to GPU was good idea. XP11 isnt that resolution dependent (4k was as heavy on the hw as 2k) while XP12 now benefits greatly from lower resolutions.
wondering what is cheaper now, new hw or new lcd (I have 4k pancake and lower resolutions dont look that good on it, some native 2k could be maybe better option)

Itās an interesting airplaneā¦and a little bit buggy right now. I havenāt scratched the surface with it yet though. Evidently it is carrier capableā¦ it has a cruise missile of some sort in the weaponās bay, and afterburners too.

I picked up that module yesterday and took it for a quick spin around the block. Itās pretty fun and will be nice when it is finished.
