I think the website got absolutely hammered. First it wouldnāt even load the cart for me and I had payment issues as well but it worked on my third attempt.

I bought, downloaded and updated. The only hickup was I had to do Paypal twice. I did not get to play. It was late and I was done after work. Im glad I got to read everything on this site. Its been my habit to delete FXO and metashaders2 folders from the Saved Games DCS folder. It guarantees a better experience. Cant wait to get on with the HMD in the HOG.

Same here.
I went back and checked if the purchase had gone through and it was sitting in my account waiting payment.
Clicking to pay, PayPal has disappeared as an option, but I could use Apple Pay which I used. Thatās a first for me purchasing software.

I was still having issues in the (European) early-morning. I found the EULA agreeable but ED didnāt seem to be so sure. Now, Iām a happy owner

Iām pleased the site was hammered by the traffic. Glad that many people wanted it day one.
I also experienced some delays getting the processing to complete, but it worked well enough.
I held onto my 8500 or so miles for the next big purchase and just spent the full $10.
Considering the amount of TMS and DMS commands, my brain is about to 404!

Have you tried VR yet? At a friendās house or demo in store?
Iād recommend buying a set from a reseller which has a 100% refund policy like Amazon. At Amazon, the return policy is around 14 or 15 days/2weeks. That gives you some time to see if itās for you. Everyone has different expectations. And give it a full week of testing, not just 1 or 2 days like Iāve seen some people then claim itās not that great. Itās a very immersive rabbit hole to go down!

I just came back from flying the Caucasus BFM instant action rides on the hog II. Those used to be hard, hard fights, as the old hog could only barely stick to an L-39. Nowā¦ Itās like takinā candy from a baby, baby!

Fully agreed. I did the air-to-ground instant action in Syria. The scorpion carries the entire engagement as you can simply see the steerpoints as they are being called out by your ground buddy and fine-tuning the SPI is so easy when you can just look out the window and put the thing on the thing. Having the TGP up in the monocle is marvelous as well, but I havenāt been able to get that overlay style that they showed us a few months ago.
I thought I was going crazy when I could no longer boresight using China hat aft. I guess the function is removed now. I saw people using a work-around by putting the TGP in standby and then activating it again to boresight it.
My wifeās PC died lastā¦ I have had to move mine inside temporarily so she can play the DLC to āThe outer worldsā Iām assuming I wonāt be getting it back any time soon so Iām going to have to shelve DCS for a while.
I did spend half hr or so sitting in the cockpit of the Hog this morning but im going to have to start buying parts for a new build for myself.
