I don’t have the pics on my phone, but there was/is an entire racing series where the car bodies were made from F-86 drop tanks.

OC I overlooked it… now I need to check if my order wasnt shipped and can be expanded…

Edit : just realized that the calendar is from a different store

@NEVO. Yep! A different store indeed. Goodluck!

Hopefully next year a 2nd print of Angel Wings cycle 1 in english, and a translated Angel Wings cycle 2.
Meanwhile on the Continent we are waiting for the Angel Wings volume 7 (from 8), the 3rd and last cycle of Angel Wings.

And where exactly am I supposed to find a cut model-T rat rod, and a pair of flying F-80’s to recreated this for a calendar shoot?! Man I love the composition on that, where exactly could I go to purchase a print?

As far as I know this poster/reproduction was sold at the Duxfors Airshows too.
There were 2 versions: with and without text.

You may find this poster also in Pin-up Wings volume 3: Pin-up Wings, Tome 3 - YouTube

Excellent thank you for the link.

@Victork2 I will definitely take you up on that, if my lack of impulse control doesn’t beat you too it. Hopefully I can make it to Duxford one of these years, that and the Mach Loop are on my bucket list next time I make it to the UK.

Before aviation series Angel Wings, there was trilogy The Nightowl aka The Grand Duke.

Scenario (short):
The Eastern Front during WW-II: Oberleutnant Wulf, a young Luftwaffe pilot, is horrified by Nazi barbarism and at odds with his fellow pilots, even as he finds himself taking to the skies to fight the infamous “Night Witches”: the 588th Night Bomber Regiment, the most decorated female unit in the Soviet Air Force. Motivated only by his desire to return home to his daughter, Romy, Wulf tries to survive the increasingly desperate and ferocious Eastern Front, while the attractive Lilya, the “Red Witch,” leads her comrades against the German invaders. When one day Lilya has been shot down, Wolf saves her live, but his problems then really start…

Some great art from this trilogy:
