DCS 2.5.x Screenshots (2019)

I think so – I’m fairly certain it’s a 1-1 replacement for the old KC-135 with drogue.

I had such high hopes that DISH was going to be a spiritual sequel to Tornado, but alas, it was not meant to be.

Congratz for all the screenshots.
Threads like this truly shake my willpower.

I was literally adding the F18 to the DCS shopping cart.

I was mission testing yesterday and recorded some video.
Want to watch a HARM launch off the rail from the cockpit view?

Yes, please. Make sure though you put it in the official DCS 2.5 Videos thread.

Do it!

More practice in the Hornet tonight with Einstein. Lot of fun. Really enjoying this aircraft.

Lookin’ mighty fine! Let Einstein know that he looks as handsome as ever. You too, of course

So many modules to love and fly in DCS, so little time. Nice problem to have though.

Took up the Mirage for a bit with @Wes, @WreckingCrew, and @Dark_Star, forgot to latch my canopy and thus had to fly with a sunroof. It was all good though, bagged 5 aircraft, two gun kills.

Unfortunately, was unable to repeat the success afterwards with a closed canopy… R77 toting Su-30s ruined our day.

Draw distance is quite short ? least there is quite few buildings in that city ?

You know, I was in a pretty unsatisfactory community for DCS at one point and I camped out on the departure leg of a runway at Tblisi. I was using the Vikhrs in AA mode to swat those taking off.

I was called a troll.

Suddenly, that seems like it’s applicable on a whole other level.

I have draw distance set to medium.

I do this so many times with the harrier. I’ve even got it written on a post it note startup check sheet and still forget it 1 time out of three. But oddly only with the harrier…

That’s one reason I see to keep mirrors turned on!
If you are taxiing and don’t see them - that’s a sign you’re missing something!

For those that turn them off for frame rate purposes, you could click them off once you confirm canopy is in fact closed & latched.

…I’m sure it will just buff out…

Another Imperialist sky pirate goes down in flames!

(actually it didn’t. This was after I had put at least 2 Aphids into the C-130. It was losing altitude but maintaining controlled flight, no bail outs. So I put a few rounds from my GSh-23 into it…a very few. Its right wing flew off! I’m not complaining mind you…as we said in my squadron days, “A kill is a kill”…but…seemed a bit unbalanced…
…yes, I left my taxi lights on.

Target hit and on fire!

With apologies to the late John Denver, :notes: “Sunshine (behind the smoke coming from a burning ship) on the water looks so lovely.” :notes:

Target destroyed!

Proof for @Troll of at least one successful landing. (I had 2 in a row) …

…can I please, pleeeeaaaassse have the keys to the Viggen now???
