Wish I could double-like that one. ^^^ That man has talent! ![]()
Just flying my Vipā¦F-16, Fighting Falcon
and for comparison, my old friend. Notice how she has two big, bright displays.
Of course flying DCS in the desert, and BMS in Korea where itās cold and shows more ![]()
Hey itās Pip, going for a Rip in his Vip! ![]()
Orange has lots of rhymes, too. ![]()

I really miss having reverse. I loved it on the B200 and the Saab 2000 that I flew
āThe fault lay inside the cockpitā. My bad.
Like I said, Iāve forgotten that switch many times, too. Just diagnosing! First step is to know what went wrong lol.
What we really need you to diagnose is the targeting pod and the laser guided munitions. Myself and @Scoop are really struggling with them. They either work once but not twice or just wonāt work at all. The Mavericks (laser and tv) seem to really struggle to uncage. Or they will uncage once but never again (even with different missiles
Well, that I can do. It has been a while since I used an LMAV, so I will have to do a refresher myself.
LGB/MAV you need to set the CODE from the stores page to the one you will use on the pod.
With the TGP on, you must also arm the laser - but that switch only goes on with the A/G mode.
On the TGP you must also bring up the code and set the LTDC (Laser target designator code) code to match the bombs or missiles. LSTC is the laser-spot-track-code for LSS (laser spot search).
When flying your run, and the bomb drops, laze with a TTI of 15-20 seconds preferably.
Before firing the laser, the top of the TGP says āL ARMā (laser armed) and it will change to āLTD/Rā (laser target designate / ranging) while active. If you see L ARM again, you deactivated the laser.
While the video for the Hornet states that the laser is a push-and-hold function, I find that to be true in SP but in MP the laser acts like the WHās LATCH (press to toggle ON, press again to toggle OFF).

The Viggen has reverse.
If I wanted to be really really fastidious, Iād point out those are assonances and not rhymes.
But itās frigging cool so I have nothing to say.
Yeah you are right, he just⦠makes them ārhymeā.
He is a master in that. As someone said in the comments: āEminem could make Orange rhyme with Czechoslovakiaā. ![]()
Recently Iāve noticed wheel braking doesnāt seem to work as well. Just taxiing my Hornet around an airfield I noticed going from 25kts to 0 takes a LOT longer than it used to.
I used to touch down at the end of a runway and be stopped by midpoint, now iāve got to use full aero and brakes full from touchdown and Iām lucky to stop by the end, and I leave skid marks the whole time until itās below 10kts.
I havenāt touched the other planes too much really so Iāve not noticed if itās universal or just the 18.
I find the hornet hard to stop compared to everything else in dcs
Double check that you are at full idle. The Hornet has two idle levels, in air and on ground.
If you idle before touch down, thatās air idle and will add alot to your stopping distance. Nudge forward and idle again to get ground idle.
I know Iām in idle when Iām taxiing before t/o and I notice it there too. Skid marks, slow stopping, the works.
