not sure, saw some vibration in the dash cover, but nothing like in the other modules like the huey or mi8 trying to dissassemble themselves
I had a hard landing on Hollo Pointe last night and I can assure you there was plenty of shaking in VR! All you need to do is shear off those rotors.
Get some sleep Victork2. This beast requires a clear mind and a calm disposition to unwrap. Or alcohol.
pics pls
Had to hard lands in which i lost my rotor. Landed wheels up with the cockpit camera shaking violently.
Then had to see how smart George was and we crashed into some trees which left me on my side with the camera shaking violently
Yes, I agree with you there. I will say though, the model is gorgeous. Super pleased with how it looks. Even my son is excited to see it when he gets home from school, so thats a nice plus point as well
See I think the A-10 is eaiser to fly than the F5.
Anyone has problem with boresighting the IHADSS - the 3 yellow rings don’t show up for me and I can’t center it precisely making for some misaligned PNVS image on the monocle.
Maybe easier to fly, but when it comes to the internal electronics?
The first two are 2D, just happy to get this thing in the air. I don’t have a clue how to deploy weapons yet, but your wingman has a plan to kill everyone in the room if let off of his/her leash.
Edit: I just noticed in the cockpit VR shot that the screen capture grabs the left eye, or the one without the monocle. Interesting.
Slava Ukraine!
Yep, just read the manual…
Pilot ops with Petro’s bro from another mother, George, pretty much the same logic. Front seat ops and mapping/learning the TADS/TEDAC grips is giving me PTSD from the days of learning the A-10C HOTAS. But it’s starting to click. I’m hooked!
Good one. I’m finding excuses to do other things cus, “ugh” - it’ll be hours before I even get my controls mapped out. Need a[nother] rainy day.
Still find it easier, i think it because i worked on A-10Cs in the Air Force. I just find it easier.
Awesome @Chuck_Owl
I couldnt figure out what i was missing even after reading the manual twice.
I think the point is - when you start from scratch, an F5 is an easier plane than a fully fledged Warthog C II.
This has always been my most feared aspect of a new module.
However the last few i have bought i basically map the basics and then jump in to learn the bird and map controls as I go.
I think under the VR settings you can pick witch eye it records
