DCS Free Month: Heads Up, Folks!

First thing I did for all the new modules was set up the axis, remove assists and all that jazz.
I swear, I was just as amazed as you are.

Haven’t flown it in ages but this doesn’t sound right.

It’s a pig imo always vears offline

On a more administrative note for the moderators
perhaps some type of “Free Thoughts” thread/track to cover our impressions of the free stuff we are trying?

Well, it’s not that it’s easy per se, what I’m saying is that

let me find a way to phrase it

I understand how it works and what to expect.
It’s some work to land it right, it’s no child’s play, but while the Dora always seems to throw curveballs at me, the Kurfurst - Dammit, KurfĂŒrst - plays clean.

It’s
predictable? Look, I have no idea, I just fly the thing.

Come fly with me and @Franze sometime!
We were retesting a WWII mission this weekend, actually.

Just admit it, you’re a closet follower of Goering. That’s why a baked rice plane works so well for you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Me, having red blood in my veins, of course downloaded the I-16 Rata and proceeded to fill a fokker full of holes. What do you mean there are no fokkers in DCS? They’re all fokkers to me if they wear those ugly black crosses!

@Hangar200 made me do it. If some of the replies shouldn’t be here
 to bad now .

I don’t really like names like those thrown around. :stuck_out_tongue:
Let’s keep it that I prefer German precision engineering to grossly under-engineered Bolshevik monsters!

Then fly FW180A-8 with KommandogerÀt!

Honestly
I’m not that fond of the more powerful Dora- I’m not sure the Anton will impress me.

The 190’s both feel very heavy to fly. Built like a tank, fly like a tank I suppose. The 109 has really impressed me with it’s flying as a 190 fan but the 190 cockpit and systems are such a nice luxury (looking at you, 109 prop governor!).

ED is teasing me.

Ah ok, I give you that, the 190 office is better in both ergonomics and functionality.

The A8 to me, is the best looking - it is different, and unique. It was also some of the first HOTAS-like setup and the dual-console setup that we see today!

From DCS I’d prefer it for anti-bomber, and the 109 for dogfights.

Concur on the whole line.

Sorry for invoking evil historical figures. Didn’t mean disrespect or insult.

However, again skirting our policy regarding politics, for me politics is the reason I just can’t get myself to fly axis ww2 planes. I know Stalin was heading an exceedingly evil regime as well, the reds still count as the good guys to me in that conflict.

Anyway, @komemiute, I’d be glad to fill that precision engineered German wunderwaffle of yours full of righteous workers’ anger :cccp:

Hahahaha don’t get me wrong, please!
No such thing as offended or anything.

It was just to tease you.
Otherwise I should have said stuff about Stalin and all the rest.

Maybe I should just have shut up.

In any case, it’s truly amazing to see how different people feel about different planes!
The amount of hidden things in our DNA, I think, goes well beyond its decoding

HARHARHAR sadly my skill is so low that I’m pretty sure you’ll get your victory so easy it’ll be devoid of any joy.
Or at least I hope. :stuck_out_tongue:

I shall fly mighty Ishak of glorious 1932 design. Skill and ideological fervor shall carry the day! :cccp:

All we need is a DCS airquake server that has the ww2 crates of our choice. I bet @Victork2 would want in on this too
