I really, really hope it has working multi-crew right out of the gate.
W O W that was surreal
This might be the FIRST heli module that I ever buy for ANY flight sim platform
Saw these beasts live at LKPJ years ago and thougt immediately how it must have felt to fly them.
I suspect this will be true of most pilots/crews, since the enemy isn’t going to be doing much hurting to it.
Well I do have particular problems with spinning things. The Hip took me a long time to master. The Tomcat spins out and kills me pretty regularly…i see no reason the Hind will be any different lol
The mi24 now has it’s own heading and section in the ED forums
Mi-24, so happy to see it coming together. I’m am so ready to get my crocodile on!
It should be easier to fly than the hip, on account of its wing and narrower, flatter fuselage giving more stability. It’s probably way harder to land due to visibility and power margin.
I’m gonna have to force myself to be quiet in this subject lest I irritate you all with my higher than usual levels of excitement for this particular aircraft. I dont have anything useful to contribute except “yay its happening and I’m gonna fly it”
If anyone does have any useful reading or technical manuals etc id be interested in getting a headstart with this one.
anything like that would be an interesting read,
This is a great moment
The truly great moment will be when we inconclusively take one up in the fight club Vs your Jug
Oh. My. God.
Hind vs jug!! Yes!!!
Sadly your chance to play against the Jug passes you by every weekend…
I know… damn kids! I will make myself available at the earliest opportunity
On a similar tangent thought train though. I really wanna try and shoot down a CE2 at some point while it’s zipping all over the place
I16 would be well suited at that I gather.
Hmm… Hind is pretty much reactionary only. It can’t choose when to attack or when to disengage. Only option is head-on attack and hope rounds connect.
Jug on other hand best to attack from the top…
Now I want to test my theory…
I like the idea of it, it probably wouldn’t work in practise. Pop up, labels off. Hiding behind the trees.
It wouldn’t work but it sounds like fun. Hind hunting
