Also, the Hind got a bit of attention with today’s update. Again they seem to have improved the force/autopilot trim. IMO, it is still a little shy of the perfection of the Hip but progressing.

If you haven’t already, you should definitely check out Paradise Lost! It’s alternate history (Philippines fall to the ‘domino effect’, and are supporting a Chinese-backed insurgency in US-held Guam), but it’s basically the Vietnam war set in the Marianas as a justification to use that terrain. Very well done, and having to make running takeoffs dragging the skids (and wishing the crew chief could jump out and run alongside!) is a blast.

just tried them … very nice… so far only two minor issues, firstly they dont pack much of a punch (but then they are a light weight missile) seems to take two to take out a hind, and secondly the 30 second cool down. this could be a bit of a problem in a snap fight.

I have just been made admin for Low Level Heaven server with full access to run their extensive mission library and to invite non group members to fly. Anytime except normal training and mission nights 1900+ UTC. Tue, Thur and Sat evenings focus on helo skills followed by a mission. Weds sometimes has Apache and Hind specific training. Sat evening tends to be mission focussed unless Aardvark feels he needs training. At the moment Aardvarks job keeps him away from his simpit. I dont fly the Hind myself but its available in the missions.
Give me a nudge if you want to try some.
