Gah! so torn.
On one hand Vietnam is always valid.
On the other hand we have like one aggregate aircraft that is appropriate (The Bis and F-5E post Vietnam upgrades) and only two announced aircraft that are marginally appropriate depending on what block Razbam chooses to model.
If I had to guess it’ll be something Cold War or Later, or Korea.
Also FLaK and napalm, yes, we need lots and lots of flak and napalm.
I think we are not taking Wags literally enough. Clearly he means -

1.5 Then. I remember a very furious breakdown of why the UH-1H is very distinctly a cold war model because it had carbon fiber blades and RWR blisters on the SHQ teamspeak a few years back. (What was that guy’s name? He and Wheel were a blast to fly with.)
I poo poo things for the fun of being contrarian (for the record, the F-5 and UH-1H would definitely work for Vietnam), but seriously, some one needs to make the old FRS-1 Sea Harrier and some crappy aircraft carriers
