But can you rearm and refuel from there.
Spent some time in a old favorite, the Tiger. Bombing in this thing is a beast. The F5 has one of the best “feeling” flight models. Just feels right. Also the new gun smoke effects are pretty sweet, but really get in the way of training. 
Reminds me of the Taladega nights Fig Newton Ad on the windshield.
Also the NTTR training mission from 476 is great. Has tons of static and moving targets to mess with.

Here is Carpiquet Airfield and Village during Operation Windsor, Mission 2 of the Charnwood Campaign, updated with the new effects in 2.2. I hope to get the missions updated in time for the next update.
Contrary to what you may hear, the performance impact from the effects has been negligible. In fact, it has allowed me to remove a lot of the smaller burning vehicles and artillery bombardments I had set up before to create the illusion of an active battlefield. The updated missions actually perform better now as a result.
I got such a surprise when I encountered these new effects. It just keeps giving

Dang - those are awesome. I haven’t touched the Harrier since those first early access days…just haven’t had a moment with the Christmas Flight and Air Hauler 2. Have they released any training missions yet?
