Wags said he would include the mission with the map, so you can start with that one
Insert pic of South Park character Randy Marsh in a room smothered in ghost ectoplasm.
I posted that once here, but it was deemed a bit too much for this forum.
Well, to be honest it was more the picture and the implication…
Oh I agree, that image is filthy and crass and has no place on this here forum of ours
…got a link??? j/k
Push for power! Woooo!
EDIT: At least until Virpil gets their collective out and I build new flight-sim chair around it and VR
Music? Awesome.
Flying? Fantastic.
Terrain? Spectacular.
Plane?
It’s the wrong bloody plane! Makes everything else feel weird and off.
Oh come on, I’m just saying what everyone is thinking.
Hey, he could have done it in a Jeff…
Perhaps a MiG-28 would have worked too…
FTFY
I was waiting for the signature Wags “Hey…what’s that XXXXX doing there…?”
Fantastic!
Two Easter Eggs:
- Hind glimpse
- SA-5 near the end
I have used graphics setting near that of Wags’ for quite some time now and even he alluded to toning things down a bit to make the performance better on the Syria map so I guess we will see how that goes.
I guess I should start budgeting for a $2000 (CAD) graphics card on the next gen release as my 1070TI will be “aging” compared to the game now.
And that’s using a monitor and TIR? Imagine being in VR!
I’ll pass on that slideshow!
I figured waiting to invest in VR tech would pay off and it seems it will haha! Let you guys deal with this rough bit and I’ll benefit from all the wisdom when the next gen GPUs are ready.
I’m hopeful it will see some optimization passes. Remember when 2.2 or whatever came with the new Caucasus update and it ran pretty poorly in VR. Looking at the Falklands videos their map seems to be chugging also.
'Nother vidya just popped up:
Significant detail: the sort of landing he made, would send the current -29 model careening into a great big ball o’ flame. They fixed the weird bouncy nosewheel!
Does DCS World do sloped or uneven runways?
