That dog’s name should be Lucky.

Those are beautiful screenshots, but this one has me perplexed…

Im good with low hp cars. The higher the hp the less likely I am to be good. lol

Here’s my latest video.
It took me three tries to beat my best Paskuri time in the Seat Ibiza from Dirt Rally 1. Enjoy!

That was awesome. When your co-driver said stay right over jump, you took him seriously LOL.

I didn’t hear the call, but I sure remember in Finland there is one where he calls stay right over jump and if you don’t you hit a second jump immediately and wind up in the woods.

There are some pretty scary high-speed turns in that one. In one of my tries I took off and hit a tree at around 4m AGL and 125kph.
Side note: That stage is also great if you want to get that jumping achievement.

This is bad, I feel like I need to have a race to run in at all times now  We shall see how the fun run goes this week, but I’ve already got the next weekend race formulated, can’t wait.

Uh oh…we gonna need to set altimeters prior to some of these stages… :see_no_evil:

That was fantastic @aginor. How big was that jump! I bet it looked a lot bigger from onboard!!!

Any interest in organizing a rallycross event next weekend? Seems most people are home now. :stuck_out_tongue: Maybe a Euro/US friendly time?

I’ll leave that to mudcat to organize. :stuck_out_tongue:

Even being at home I can’t guarantee I’ll be available at any given specific time. I don’t want to organize anything I’m not likely to be there for. Someone else can take that one up if they’d like

Finally got a chance to start the rally. I did a single practice run on a New England stage (not sure which, but one of the ~8 mile ones) in each car just to get a feel for which one I liked better, plus a chance to re-acclimatize myself to the sim (haven’t driven it in months). I hope that’s still within the spirit of the rules, i.e. not practicing each stage 10 times to do a super-fast run.

Didn’t manage to finish the practice run in the Golf, it just felt a bit unwieldy and too stable. The Peugeot is great though. Slightly down on power according to the stats, but the front end is so pointy and you can chuck the thing around so easily. Great fun and ultimately my chosen ride.

Completed 6 stages so far, will get in the rest tonight. Started making mistakes like rolling onto my right door and sliding for ~100 feet (rolled back to four wheels before I hit a big tree thankfully!) and getting fully 90° sideways to the left about 100 feet before a hairpin right. Heart rate went up on that one!

I consider myself “good” but certainly not great, so I was expecting to be in the mid-field, maybe challenging the top guys on occasion. I’m. . . not. I’ll let you take a look at the leaderboards. . .

I saw, thanks for Representing the 205 the way I couldn’t, that thing is a real rocket with a bit of tuning

Thanks for joining Roo and you are laying down some great times. The quickest so far. Thanks for carrying the MUDSPIKE banner on your Peugeot!

YES I finished and boy was that last stage nerve wracking?

My big aim was to just get round the 12 stages after a dismal effort in the previous event. I was so pleased I actually high-fived the marshall at the end who thanked me for not running him over this time.

First time I’ve ever done this sort of event and I can’t wait for the next one.

A big thanks to Mudcat for sorting this out and everyone who took part.
