DiRT Rally 2.0 League - Discussion

Man, if I didnt fumble around with a tire change on the last stage, I could have overtaken beach. Rallying is full of should’ve and could’ve. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, you are in trouble in the next rally because I’m starting to learn that a left hairpin is the opposite direction of a right hairpin and vice versa…

You all probably didn’t get to see all the beautiful extra scenery like the ambulance and stuff up close. It isn’t the finish line men…it’s the journey…(yeah…or something…)

I could really use side impact air bags.

I can offer you up some snow banks. They are soft-ish

Man, the icy roads of rally monte carlo would be brutal for us. At least it may slow down the hot shoes.

Oh dear. Monte Carlo with Group B (RWD) cars (like the Manta) is the noob filter.
I tried it. Forgot to shoot a video but it would have been hilarious.

it’s surprisingly easy to go up and over those guard rails and down the cliff, isn’t it

Surprisingly that didn’t happen to me.
But I did grind along one or two. Tony Hawk would have been proud.
And oversteered, putting the nose of the car into a few if those rock walls. One of them is concealed by a bush, you think that you will just hit the bush but there is actually a protruding part of the rocks behind it…

Argentina, rocks and non stop hairpins. And you call this a fun run? Last man standing more like.

Body work repairs will be interesting. I’m missing those trees in New England already.

Shhhhh don’t tell anyone but I haven’t really run any of the new tracks in this game before. So it’s like a fun surprise for me too.

I’m getting the crew to up-armor my Sube before trying a shakedown run.

Hey, I mentioned earlier about putting together some sort of virtual rally school, but it turns out that it’s already been done. I really need a refresher anyway.

Made it through stage 1, but car was beat to ■■■■ from the rocks. I wasnt able to repair it enough to make it to stage 2. Maybe increase the pit time for the bad drivers? I won’t be winning either way. Oh well was a fun stage. I got 1 green bar, so at some point I was doing ok!

I believe I set them to max time… Had a good laugh that t-boning a camera van was only a 11 second penalty

If I may make one suggestion that could be helpful, have you tried adjusting when your co-driver makes calls, specially later (closer to the actual turn/obstacle). Watching your video I know I probably would forget what the heck he said by the time I got there, plus it cuts down on making a turn down the wrong road.

It’s just one of those little things I noticed that helped me a lot that didn’t require me to specifically drive better.

Marshall: WTF!

Co-driver: I’m too old for this ■■■■.

Gunny: Don’t feel bad. There’s cold beer on the bus.

So Stage 2 was a whirlwind of emotions!

This picture should describe my first emotions,

Then the end of the stage was awesome!!! Those wide open corners and just screaming down the straights in 5th gear!!!

Stage 3 wasnt bad but I wanted to punch my Co-driver because all he kept saying is 1 right 2 left 2 left 1 right…

At the end of stage 1 I had 14 mins of repairs, but at the end of stage 3 I only have 2 mins! Good times!

Is anyone driving the Evo? I thought this video was outstanding.
