I’ve been getting hammered at work for 2 days. Our biggest client had the power knocked down at 1430 yesterday, and wasn’t back on until 0515 this morning. We had a guy onsite of course, waiting for it to be restored. They have people working remotely from San Francisco, the Caymans, to Malta, so been a mess. The buildings have emergency power, but basically only enough to keep lights and HVAC on in the critical areas (data centers). Blah blah blah.
Have been dying to try Argentina. Hopefully get to knock out the rally tonight.

Finished up the Argentina stages, thankfully the repairs made a bit of a difference. I’m currently sitting 1st, but fully expect @Roo and @chipwich to rip my times to bits.

I’ve just done the first two stages and was hoping for a repair, but had to limp on after the first two. I had terminal damage midway through sector 3 of the third stage.
22 miles of stage in the awful rain without a repair pit was too much for me.

Because of how many races are in the R5 one I really only looked to make sure there weren’t any double stages and didn’t look at stage lengths to try and and space things out. So might not be the last time. Just wanted a long running one that I didn’t have to adjust settings and all that for awhile.
I’ve been itching to try that course out, just waiting on the wife to finish up her telecommuting for the day

Its a nice course, especially after the ROCKS! in Argentina. Watch out for Scottish LOGS! though.

Ha, ok, this is fun, but man I’m slow, and tend to hit just about every damn rock.
I’m sure it dosen’t help any that I drive with an old PS3 controller, but it’s too much work changing out all the flightsim stuff for a wheel…
Got through stage 2, and then I couldn’t connect to the server anymore? Is it normally a bit unstable, or just a fluke?

Man it is really bad now.
I’d like to join you second club but I cannot connect.
So I drove a few stages of Scotland in the meantime. Man those R5 cars are stable. Nice drive.

Finished this on up! Good combo with the NR4 cars and the tight courses. I as of now hate rocks, hairpins, and narrow bridges…
Request sent for the other club as well. Not sure how much Ill be able to do, 12 stages in 3 days is alot lol!

It’s 3 1/2 days so it’s an even 2 a week. Can be a lot for sure, just threw it together for those knocking out the others early. Or in my case crashing out, I have a tendency not to play at all unless it’s something like this.

So that first stage was um WOW!! A lot of things went wrong and some went right. However 2 punctures and a top speed of 85 lead to a end after 1 stage.
I was flying through that open section with 3 tyres though!

Gaaaaah.
I had a decent first stage (30 seconds behind the leader which is good for me) but just half a km or so before the finish line I did something dumb and crashed.
Then the game somehow couldn’t connect to Racenet and I restarted and was thrown into the second stage where I wrecked the car. I could limp to the finish but then gave up because it was basically impossible to steer.
That one was too tough for me.

Jeez @keets, you’re right there with me. Going to try the last two stages in a little bit. Actually quite nervous about reeling you in. Will see how it goes. Then of course there’s @chipwich and Elby to worry about.
