It was showing up this afternoon, but I was gettiing the infitie loading screen.
Real world each chute is good for 2000lbs, so the C-130 zone cargo should takes 5 chutes. That’s what I’ve been using and it seems to work.

Any appearance of competence in the F-4 was coincidental. And rare.

Nah, dude, Beach, you’re solid. You’re hosting this on your own dime and with your own effort. Don’t sweat it. Servers are pain and I’ve adminned or hosted a lot of stuff, myself, from CoD4 to ArmA 2.

Had some fun attacking and capturing November today, just as I was wrapping up they neutralized Hama. Didnt see any Mi-8’s rolling in though so there’s that. Good luck whomever joins up next

Been doing a lot of logistical work. Ran into this funny bug.. This crate of supplies was airdropped but was keeping in formation with my Herc..
Later found it again.. Smashed into this taxiway.
Logistics was making me and the industry very rich.. the problem was clear. I was reinforcing not so strong units, and red was just blasting them away for me to rebuild them again..
Was clenched up a bit for this Mirage circling me..
But hornets came for him.. he narrowly avoided that burst of M61
Never change.. Pathfinding logic.. It was completely avoidable to get stuck but the AI really wanted to drive through this small compound and get stuck
One hit to the tail rotor.. Now I am stranded and in need of a hero again. I guess that should teach me a lesson in overflying assumed hostile positions.

Launched a triple CSAR mission from Aleppo. Picked up Derbysieger, The AlmightySnark, and Bryan(Sryan?). Dropped them off at Jirah. See ya at the O-Club for the debrief and 
Picked up smokinhole earlier this morning as well.
Still learning the logistics mechanics of this mission. Read a fantastic “How To” post by jenrick the other day.

Did some dumb bombing practice in the F1, it’s more fun to do when there’s actual threats around! First up, Foxtrot so went up against the SA-2 site. It was protected by some ZSU-23’s which got me good on the first go. Had to land fast due to hydraulic issues, aircraft skidded like hell and landing gear collapsed, chute did a little but eventually I skipped to a stop in front of the tower.
Second run went much better, if you keep a gentle bank and turn going the AAA has a hard time getting you. Managed to destroy a bunch of ground units and had some fun.
For the third attack a random SA-8 had popped up and it locked and launched from short range, I was baffled and took no action and thus ended up shot down as well!
The fourth attack was from Hama to Radio Tower. Did do some good damage and tried a few different methods for attacking. Went back to Hama to get some missiles to knock out a SU-25 flight and as I wanted to turn around they had been shot down or disappeared so alas. That was enough for me tonight!

I would not be surprised if the server is having some issues today. My Wi-Fi has been super slow… so I’m not sure if y’all are seeing that in server performance.
Well…just after I reset the router and server the power went out for a few seconds… The internet has not come back up. So I’ll see if it comes back before I go to bed and I’ll check it in the morning.
Server is back up. I’m heading out of town for a few days..so if the power goes out we might be out of luck. Well..we WILL be out of luck. If the server crashes (DCS crash) I should have the ability to restart it remotely…so that would be less of a problem. Thanks for your patience. I’d love to be flying on the server but as soon as work days wrap up I’ve been heading out with my youngest son (Kai) to do fun stuff outdoors..so my in front of the PC time has been limited. That will all change when he goes back to school in a month..so enjoying it while I can.

Hey Chris, thanks for putting so much time and energy into the hobby for us and with us. But if the server happens to go down.. we’ll be alright. The memories you’re making now will mean so much more than our digital internet airplanes so don’t let it burden your mind.

Absolutely! And once you have some time for flightsimming lets all get together and do a big fly-inn together on a weekend, when we get together with 4 or 5 people it has been so much fun already!

Had some more fun in the Mirage bombing the Radio Tower point. There was a Kub there and a SA-15 somewhere around but neither did anything to defend themselves. Might be a fun place to clear out with a Huey if you get a chance today/tonight!

Did another sortie in my beloved F1, hit radio tower once more, did some MK-83 bombing which went horrible, my whole aim was off. The Matra-F4 rocket attack was more successful but the effect seemed to be a bit muted. I mostly leveled the town again… Tiny parachute bombs are still the best option unfortunately for the residents.
