If you havent played Doom 64, its totally worth it. a genuinely scary version of doom with a terrific atmosphere
just finished
very good, in the vein on Tom Clancy’s Hunt for red october
I’m contplating what is scarier, doom or the epic game store part.
What do you mean? It’s harmless… I find it much less intrusive than Steam and much much lighter as a front-end too.
I have over 100 games on Epic and ive only purchased 3 of them. Its fine with me as well. Plus, when you close it and turn off auto startup on launch you completely forget its there. Just like gog
It’s not the user experience that is the problem @Victork2, although Epic Games Store does indeed lack a lot of features Steam has.
Tencent has a 40% share in Epic Games and has helped to spy on and detain a million Uyghurs.
They are also very happy about the shareholder experience and have managed to censor “Uyghur” and other words that China does not want to see in League of Legends.
I don’t know why @sobek fears the Epic Games Store but this is why I’d rather buy games I want to play than contribute to their platform and popularity in any way, even by playing free games.
EDIT: deleted it, but then restored after @Victork2 's comment below
