Was just about to say that ![]()
I never played it myself but heard many times: “yes, but… can it run Crysis?” whenever people discussed new hardware.

They rolled out a quicksave with yesterdays patch.
I hadn’t expected it so soon. I had put it on hold because it was getting tiresome restarting sectors over and over again and was thinking I would get back to it maybe in a month or two.
I just bought this and hopefully may be able to start playing tonight.
In an ideal world, museums would have a conscience and just return stolen artifacts (including those of all first nation people) to their rightful owners.
But a game that lets you ‘steal’ them back ![]()
I had this on my wishlist for a while and less than two hours into it… I’m hooked.
Not only am a fan of the ‘dungeon crawler/D&D’ genre, Esoteric Ebb is the funny and sarcastic spiritual successor to Disco Elysium. A bit like The Orville is to Star Trek.
I was enthralled by Disco Elysium and the world it is set in. One of those games that still has me thinking about it even after finishing it years ago. Like Esoteric Ebb, it is a point and click adventure/mystery, results and game progression are determined by die role and dialogue choices… It If you haven’t played it, you should. (@schurem I reckon you would love it, very heavy on politics and philosophy).
I think I made my love for Chuck Yeager’s Air Combat painfully clear for anyone that listened to me for more than 5 minutes…
What I didn’t know is that Mac Users had a much more interesting version they could play…
MUCH more interesting, especially considering it was barely 1991!
having a blast with Menace
if you like things like Xcom or 40k battle sector you will probably like this
one of my squads took a bad hit from a xeno bug
his hand ended up 4 squares away ![]()
Played the demo, neat concept. I wish the crew served weapons had much longer ranges, but that’s a complaint I have in a lot of games.
and now we can start the discussion about violence in games all over again … ![]()
Finally got Bush 1022 as well.
The perfect flying game to play in the train after a day at the office:
This is exactly what I want when I don’t have the brainpower/attention span or battery needed for RDR2
That is so great to hear! Happy flying!!
Torille tavataan!
Road to Vostok is, so far, pretty great. It’s an indie game with STALKER and Tarkov in its veins, but with a singleplayer almost rogue-like spin on it. The most exciting part?
This is not UE5.
This is not UE4.
This is not even Unity.
This is on Godot!
It’s on sale for $15 right now.
When Unity tried to change their pricing (and then rowed back due to backlash) 2(?) years ago, a lot of game developers started looking in earnest at Godot. Expect many more indie games coming out in the future that use it.
Edit: It was in late 2023, so more than 2 years ago.
Yeah, it’s really bore fruit. I see no reason to ever even consider Unity at this point beyond support.
Inbound! THis is absolutely astonishing from the artistic point of view and apparently also very good to play! Bookmarked.
Saw that, had me fire up Flight Commander, which I still have on my gaming laptop in 2026. Might put in for the playtest.
I played a game called Casualties : Unknown.
I thought it was a terraria clone but hell no.
my first game over happened when I just fell down a bit and hit the spike trap with head first, the rest was not pretty.
I played more for 3 days and got smart enough to pass level 1, but I had to stop playing as each deaths made my heart more uncomfortable.
When the dog is dying he doesn’t just die, but literally suffers.
I couldn’t get it to run on the last two versions of Windows, but it runs fine on Linux (via wine).
Awesome game. I was disappointed when I bought it as a kid because I thought it was a flightsim (yeah, I know. Probably mixed it up with Strike Commander), but ended up playing it a LOT and using it as a database about weapon systems.
I found it in college in the 90’s and it was perfect to be able to keep on my network drive and play between classes in the computer labs. I appreciate the simplified flight movement system compared to the follow on WW2 titles. The square tiles worked well with the movement system, and you had a pretty good idea of where you could move. The later titles never clicked as well with me in that regard.
