I got these two in the Steam sale.

Funny little game, and it teaches programming basics. Not that I need that (programming is part of my job), but it is still intriguing.

Haven’t tried this one yet but people say it is good.

If you like programming type puzzles might I recommend anything made by Zachtronics:

My wife and I just bought resident evil 2 in the steam sale for 14.99. I played the first one on the playstation years ago and wifey has never played any of them.

I must say it’s a fantastic update to the old version. I’m a big fan of the over the shoulder view and the combat and watching my wife crawl up and down the sofa terrified and jumping a foot into the air and screeching is hilarious. It does kind of take the tension away from me slightly but it’s seriously funny. We just got to the first meeting with the ‘licker’ and I really thought I may have to defibrillate her at one point.

Totally worth the money

I think it was the first Resident evil game, there was I sat Infront of the TV all lights off, at about 10.30 at night, the wife had gone to bed. And I got to the bit where you walk down a corridor and dogs burst through windows either side… well let’s just say it was a very un- dignified and unmanly sound that I made … That was the last resident evil game I played …

Yes. The first.

That ■■■■■■■ Zombie doberman.

Yep first one!

Nearly as bad as in the remake of the first one where you walk down that corridor and they DONT jump out at you…

But then they do it on they way back. Chest clutch!!

Not to mention the giant Snake, Giant Spider, Giant Shark, and… what was that? Ah yeah, Giant Carnivorous plant!

Joyful, joyful…

I played SpaceChem and Infinifactory (sadly I played the latter first, which ruined SpaceChem for me a bit).

I finished my first playthrough of Prey over the break. Not the 2005 one, I’ve played that a few times, the one from a couple of years back on the space station that had nothing to do with that 2005 one at all.

Very engrossing and atmospheric, but not without its flaws. Still, I spent a good 40 hours on it and enjoyed it.

I started A Plague Tale: Innocence, and boy this is dark.

Also: sad that the game expects me to find and gather secrets all while being chased through the levels by some angry mob.

Ironically Infinfactory is one of two I don’t own (Ironcalds is the other). Loved Space chem, never did finish it though. May need to do that over the holidays.

Space Chem is hard.

I admit I haven’t finished both SpaceChem and Infinifactory either.

I play such games quite casually so I am a bit reluctant to invest all the thought and time which the later levels require. IIRC I am stuck in one of the last five levels.

I can however absolutely recommend Infinifactory. It is awesome and everyone should play it. It even has a funny story.

Yeah…the story of my life…oops, was that out loud? :fearful:

I have a key for Infinfactory if you want it from a Humble Bundle.

Bought The Hunter Call of the Wild in the last day of the Steam sale and it’s a lovely looking game and I can see it being a relaxing game to play, just bought a couple of other regions to hunt in too.

And just this moment bought the Halo Master Chief Collection. With only Reach available right now and the rest released in chronological order ending with Halo 4 in 2020. I played and finished Halo 1 and 2 but the rest I haven’t so looking forward to playing through the collection.

I nearly bought the master chief collection yesterday but i didn’t realise it was only releasing with just Reach for now till I nearly completed the purchase.

I couldn’t find any concrete dates for the release of the rest except a vague 2020.

I think I’ll wait for a bit with that one despite my excitement at getting to finish the series off after a long wait

I was just going to get Reach and hoped the rest of the collection would be available at the same individual price but they are listed as £29.99 each! So thought I’d go for the collection and see how Reach is.

My god I did not realise that!! I feel really irritated by this. I thought that as reach was up for 6.99 ish (cant remember without looking) that would be the process for each one.

I wont be giving over my money to them until that comes right down in price.
