Woah I didn’t realise LNS invested so much into the spaning side of things on the AJS-37. Makes me wonder if the F-14 will get some sort of functionality for the TARPS.
Considering the how pervasive it was in the role, and the respect it built in the recce community, I can’t see how they could not do it.
Leatherneck has really hit it out the park. They don’t even brag about it. So typical Swedish. I was not one to care much for aircraft that did not see any combat. I have changed my mind. I hope someday maybe they make a Draken. I am having too much fun with the Viggen now.
The Tomcat is going to be epic.

So stupid question - can the Viggen be flown in Nevada using the Open Beta yet? I can see the module, but when I try to get in it…it is only AI flown…

I don’t know. I think I seriously screwed up my install(s). I suspect one of my installs borrowed from another install during the install and now I have problems with my key working. Sigh.
Go into your DCS Open Alpha / bin directory and try a
DCS_Updater.exe repair
…command? That should verify and sort it out.
The Viggen works well for me in the 2.0 Alpha, and didn’t need relicensing as I already had it on the Open Beta anyway.
I dunno what I did. I got an integrity fault of the Activation key.

Are there registry entries tied to the activation scheme? I suspect I have a problem where an early release key is conflicting with a retail key.

Alright…all my “corrective” actions led to me deleting my Open Beta. Right now I have retail up and running fine, the Viggen activated. What is the fastest way to install the Open Beta now? From the Advanced Update panel of Skate’s (awesome) installer? Can I just flip back and forth between the two from there? And err…do I want Open Alpha or Open Beta to fly the Viggen in Nevada?

Oh you silly american, max landing weight makes no sense for glorious viggen! You must dispense all ammunitions at once when at target you see, only then you can land!
