It think it is a great looking airplane. Purposeful, and ahead of it’s time when you consider it was designed well before the the likes of the currently in service canard designs such as the Typhoon and Rafale.

I sense even more unresolved issues :slight_smile:

uh… yeah, maybe. Actually I don’t remember. I only think they look weird and out of place.

Yes, the canard hosts the flaps. They extend with the landing gear. They also have 0, -4 and -7 degree settings, which is set according to the loadout, and not pilot controlled.

Squat to pee, flare to land.
