All those extra sensors are for developers , not gamers . This is an enterprise headset that uses the sensors to provide feedback to developers so they can make (as examples) more exciting games , or track users attention paid to tutorials , presentations etc .
True , the eye tracking COULD be used for a foveated rendering , but the headset would be dust before that implementation comes to flight sims .

There are obviously no games that can use the data these sensors collect, today. But as developers get hold of these headsets, there probably will be games that will use the sensors. I just hope it will be more than just a social VR dating app that will show facial expressions and a heart rate love monitor

Definitely!
For example during the IFR training mission in the DCS C101, that one made me sweat a lot.
Also when I was getting used to VR and got really sick but wanted to finish the mission.
Sometimes during tense combat missions as well. Such as during the Mudspike Fly-in a while back when we flew our Mirages into that Russian Air defenses to bomb the train station and there was flaks and sams everywhere.

I experienced increased heart rates when I got VR… Crashing into the ground was all of a sudden more ”in my face”
Also I remember a DCS Huey mission in dense fog. I crept along the ground, straining to see any obstacles in my way, when I realized my heart was pounding…

Just saw on MRTV channel that HP announced that the G2 would be shipping soon.
Dang, running the G2 on my insufficient 1070 is gonna be painful. Running it on the 3080 when it finally arives is going to be glorious
