I think all of Marketplace is not ready yet.
Check if it still reads „coming soon“ when you enter the marketplace.

They said they are holding off on the marketplace for a few weeks.
FYI, the latest version of Addons Linker has a separate .exe for FS2024 in the archive, which allows you to keep your addons for each sim in different folders.
I’d be curious what everyone thinks of the flight model. I’d heard on YouTube (probably not the best source) that the flight model was improved. But taking the Basic Skyhawk for a cruise around our local area left me a bit disappointed. For instance, one of the first things that I check during clearing turns is slip and in 45 degree banks with my feet on the floor, the ball stays perfectly centered. That’s with auto rudder and other assistance disabled.
If anyone has some screens of the PC-24 interior I’d be curious what kind of placeholders they are using for the Honeywell Apex system.
Thanks! Looks like a very simplified approximation…but I wasn’t expecting much more than that. I still keep hoping that IRIS PC-24 will see the light of day…
To be honest, I think that the default aircraft set for MSFS2024 is pretty amazing all things considered. Plenty of variety, reasonably modeled ‘survey level’ aircraft. Bringing in the 3rd party devs was really a great move by Asobo/MS .
I still haven’t pulled the trigger on 2024. The career mode stuff does sound interesting… I love goal oriented types of flying (I wonder if my Air Hauler 2 company has been foreclosed on yet…hmmm…)
Me neither.
…but we both know that it will happen, don’t we?
I say schedule that for January. It‘s not ready.
That’s what I was thinking, but I fear I won’t be able to resist and will buy it in a few days, only to try it once, fail, decide that it isn’t ready, and then cry over it until February.

Way ahead of ya
When it runs, it’s very pretty
I’m enjoying MSFS2024 so far. The VR performance is probably the smoothest I have experienced in a flight sim outside of VTOL-VR. I don’t know how they did it, but there are practically no stutters. The career seems good although I need to find a way to get rid of the helpers such as flight path and taxi-route etc.
The career mode is obviously in its early days and there is a lot more that they can do with it.
Will give it a few more patches I think.
When it works, it definitely seems very impressive.
I was watching Jeff Favigno stream and the density of ground details in completely random places makes you forget you’re in a flight sim
Not perfect but very promising If that’s how it looks on day 1!
Would you (and/or anyone else) still care to share a few words what it’s like? Is it cohesive and continuous? Or not even that?
