MSFS 2024

Just a heads-up on this little app. Been fiddling with, it and seems to work fine. Definitely better than fiddling with tha’ xml manually etc.

And its pretty versatile.

Launch Manager 2024 is a portable application designed to streamline the management of external utilities and companion programs for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It automates the startup and shutdown of tools like SPAD.neXt and FSUIPC, offering features such as multi-profile management, drag-and-drop app addition, and detailed logging. This tool allows users to create custom profiles for different flying configurations and ensures that applications are launched in a controlled manner, enhancing the overall simulation experience.

Just a heads-up on a new app that might be quite helpful for GSX users…

https://flightsim.to/addon/105454/dave-s-gsx-profile-manager

Description

*A standalone desktop tool that scans your MSFS Community folders and cross-references your installed addon scenery against your active GSX Pro profiles. It identifies which airports have configurations installed and which ones are missing as well.

I would like to allow users to download GSX profiles directly from the manager, but due to flightsim.to API limitations, this is not possible. Thus a button to take you to flightsim.to with the ICAO for the relevant airport pre-searched in GSX Profiles is what I’ve done.*

*Bugs will be present no doubt, so don’t hesitate to dm me at ‘fsdave.’ on Discord if you find any :+1:

Some miscellaneous sceneries may be classed as airports, like tree removal or static object sceneries. Not much I can do about these as it’s quite difficult to filter these out depending on how the developer has configured their package.*

Hmmm. Could be useful. I’d like to be able to give it a list of airports that I frequently visit instead of having it scan tens of thousands. Will check out though.

Now will be nice to see a review of that f27

I’m sure it will be good for its price point but not study level by any stretch of the imagination. Just like all the other local legend aircraft.
