Is there a similar group to the Airbus working to mod the default 747 for MSFS?
There is. But I don’t know anything about it except that it is in the works.
Thanks - I’ll keep an eye on it…
I would have mentioned Salty Simulations as part of my post, but as of yet I haven’t seen them confirm their effort has been updated to work with the latest version of MSFS.
Looks like a fun little airfield. Not in my AO…but definitely the kind of vibe I like… Brindas Airfield (LFKL) near Lyon, France…

Wow…that’s a beauty. Reminds me a bit of the Meyers 200…
Seems to be getting some nice word-of-mouth.
Sigh…downloading now.
LOVE it!
It feels like a solid aircraft with some inertia… Lots of detail in the cockpit, and it looks fantastic in VR. If this had been available a couple of months ago, it would have been my ride of choice for the Christmas trek.
Wow, that is a pretty bird. Very tempted now.
What’s the instrumentation?
Does it have ADF, VOR/DME, ILS (maybe even TACAN since it is a military trainer)?
I’ll take a closer look, but there is definitely an ADF. I tumbled the gyro too while doing some aeros, so that’s pretty cool. I guess I should have caged it beforehand. Easily fixed by caging and uncaging though (not sure if it is that simple IRL)…
I’ve seen the ADF on your screenshots, too.
There also seems to be one NAV receiver, so most likely VOR at least.
Also funny about that plane: a LOT of the instruments look very familiar if you have flown a German WWII warbird such as the FW 190.
Dang it, between the steam sale, the DCS sale, the Epic sale, this December is turning into an expensive month.
Thank you for the quick review, certainly helps make a decision.
It seems there are a few things that are not functioning … I’m not getting any glide slope indication, but localizer seems to be working. The GPS tab isn’t working yet and the map, which I assume is supposed to bring up the default map isn’t working yet either. I’m guessing these small items will be fixed in due course though.
One thing I can’t seem to do is induce an accelerated stall…you can haul the stick all the way back and it just turns faster. That might be a MSFS issue though. I did manage to spin it though…
Pitty I can’t like the post multiple times
Is there a chance of the ATsimulations plane to appear in the MS Marketplace in game?
Does anybody know?
