Goodness, those are beautiful shots!
Ah, well that explains it then. Iâll keep my fingers crossed that the devs take a look at some point. VR is a new feature after all. Thanks for all the effort and hard work you put into making the importer!
I wonderâŠ
If someone converted a glider⊠are the thermals strong enough?
Yes, beautiful shots, but with an ugly aircraft
LOL that TO/Landing formation with other CRJ is how they want to appeal this to the kidsâŠ
Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help
.
Not been following this, whatâs the expected launch window now for the Aerosoft CRJ?
What buccaneer is that? The model looks great for an fsx conversion. Now to find my Starlight and Tornado installers for fsx.
Heeh. I have just abandoned MSFS for the time being and then this comes along.
There are a fair number of FSX planes that I would like to fly in MSFS, so this will probably pull me faster back into the fold again.
However for the time being I will concentrate on my 3D printer/Lasercutter cabinet project.
Is there any guides on how to convert FS2004 planes into MSFS? There are a couple that I would like to be able to tumble around in the clouds with. One is the Folland Gnat with the Red Arrows Roll Rate damper disable mod. Even just for my own use if it is not possible to obtain permission, to share the finished result.
I would also like to thank you and all of the other tools and content creators, for all of the work that you put into making it a so much better experience to do Flightsimming. I am very grateful for all of the effort. It is very much appreciated.
Happy Simming.
In this regard we have a concern and weâll keep it short: We made a really tough decision to postpone the CRJ release into the first quarter of next year. This decision wasnât easy for us, because we know how much anticipation there is in the community for this add-on.
So this Friday then?
Here you goâŠ
me again. working with Ian Lewis on instruments upgrade, it is open source project so we hope it will speed up gliders arrival in MSFS as devs will have at least precised instruments in new format.
but no thermals yet in the game - only ridge lift (fun to fly but not train), and model is imported from FSX so no VR.
I am just trying out the DG-808S. Nice work, thank you!
While installing, I get this error message (tried all installers from 0.1 till 0.5)
Though the glider seems to function OK. Any idea what might be wrong?
Thanks.
never seen it before. there is an issue with installer - it copies files twice, probably your drive so fast so it tried to write file same moment. you can ignore it, installer will be fixed in next update.
shortly about this project - out goal is make instruments work as much realistic as possible with current limitations. flight model is in focus as well, but not the main goal (Ian is glider pilot and genius developer same time, so this task is easier for him than for anyone else). Model upgrade not in plans.
yes, you will need to extract cockpit first, i.e. convert FS2004 > FSX, then FSX > MSFS. you can check this tutorial, or any other made even before MSFS release.
I too am in a state of shock at such beauty being described as ugly.
