Oh, and here is a new version of the Boca Chica scenery for all of us SpaceX fans:

im very curious about the fps impact.
Ooh. Whoever gets the CRJ first please post a new thread with pics etc!
Hope the doors and floors are made of titanium. Philly fans are so mean they would probably try to shoot it down for sportā¦

It looks very nice, someoneās fan video of the 700 in beta:
Waiting to see if Simbrief integration will be in and not so sure how itāll get on in VR. The real-life physical displays are a bit smaller (but accurate!) so slightly concerned visibility might be a bit harder. Keen on hearing how other people get on with it in VR first.
Nice video - wonder if the HUD is collimated and readable in VRā¦
I havenāt picked it up yetā¦gonna wait and see some thoughts on it. I hope someone makes an ERJ-135 at some pointā¦my favorite of the regional jet type planesā¦
Yep⦠speaking for myself, I struggle to read the displays in the CJ4 ![]()
So do I!
Itās just a shame that @paulrix got eaten by that marine iguana in the Galapagos last week or weād already know some good details about the CRJ.

Heās aliveā¦!!!

Iām looking forward to flying it when I get backā¦and yes, Iām alive
. I did get hissed at by a Giant Tortoise the other day, and saw a few sharks while snorkeling, but I have managed to avoid getting eaten up to this pointā¦
That is just the kind of thing a marine iguana would type if he were holding you hostage. I wonāt believe it until I see some CRJ first impressions.
Oh manā¦that is a pretty good video. Seeing it cold & dark tweaks that Cold and Dark Challenge desire in meā¦
you want first impressions i give you first impressions:
I brought it yesterday and general way iām surprisingly impressed. Its very good and recommended addon and now my fav āairlinerā there.
Excellent visuals (i loved to see the non flat screens), very detailed 3d out and in. Fly well and I did some manual landings and were nice feeling and plausible for the kind of aircraft. Sound great. Very detailed systems and includes a nice pad with many config options, V speeds calcs and full checklists.
Includes many docs with detailed explanations and full tutorial flight.
The only con thing but for sure will be addressed and devs are already on investigation and also you can avoid it, is that it ctd when you load it if you non previously loaded a default bird.
About fps impact, Iām far away of having a nasa pc were all runs well and canāt ensure if airplane x runs and y not. In reality i have a very modest pc (i7 920, 24G ram, 1060 6G), and i have compared with cessna longitude. So if your pc runs the Longitude in a way you afford it, will be the same with this one. For me was a positive surprise because i expected worst. So in takeoff and land in a international airport in the center of a capital city (LPPT) i have +/- 15 to 18 that for me is enough in that part of flight.
Finally it includes a nice selection of real liveries from big airliners like Lufthansa and Air France and some american ones ![]()
Its in fact the first complex addon for msfs!
Sounds great, thanks for jumping in first and providing a review!
I bought this the other day as well, I only had a few minutes to mess around with it but hereās my initial impressions from a few minutes of fumbling around to get it started and taxi around:
-
Visually impressive.
-
Great EFB tablet.
-
Performance could be a concern on modest systems. My 1080 was chugging along at 20-30 fps on the ground at a fairly basic regional airport. Workable, but Iād hate to fly it near any major cities. Iāll try and do some more quantifiable comparisons with some stock aircraft tomorrow.
-
Systems modeling seemed good enough. Donāt know how deep they went but itās certainly pleasant to have something more complex than the stock aircraft.
-
Some quirks. For instance, some switches I flipped and wasnāt able to get them back to the original position.
-
Throttle seemed to have detents for TOGA, Climb, etcā¦? Perhaps this is how the real thing is, but the throttle seemed to āsnapā to these power settings.
Again, these are my initial thoughts - they are not meant to deter anyone from purchasing and I have not looked through the documentation at all. There are comments above that could be fixed in post-launch updates or explained in the docs.
