Well you can change the Avatar in that menu to a different KIND of Millennial.
But, as a group, they still all look like guests at a party to which I would no longer be invited.
For the most part it hardly is noticeable. But in some of the vintage open cockpit jobs, itād be nice to see an Amelia Earhart, Howard Hughes, Tuskegee Airman, USAAC/RAF/IJN/etc type character.
EDIT: I thought about it and realized the the MILVIZ Corsair had a nice pilot model.
I wonder how difficult it would be to import it to the sim in generalā¦
I just took it for a quick flightā¦really fun to fly and nicely done. You can remove the cowl, and there are some nice static elements including tie-downs, a fuel barrel with a manual pumpā¦oh, and your co-pilot is a cat.
It looks like a combination of the BD-5 and a Cirrus Vision Jet. Very simple to fly, great view out the cockpit. It scoots along at over 200 Knots. Fun if you like this kind of thing (I do). At $19 USD (16 Euros) it wonāt break the bank, but I do think there are better value aircraft available at a similar price.
The SubSonex is such a quirky cool looking little jet!
Available as a DIY kit⦠One nice feature is the engine. Need maintenance? Just send the engine to the factory.
I need this for MSFS.
It is a fun little airplane. It seems well behaved (ie it doesnāt try to kill you if you look the other way for a moment).
One thing I noticed is that you can easily scrape the tail on landing. You need to keep a fairly flat attitude and set it down before the speed bleeds off too much.
Yeah, simple straight wings.
I wonder how the excess thrust is at low speeds and if you can risk ending up behind the curve and perhaps with a slow spool-up
Iād have to test the spool up. I havenāt found myself in that position yet. Iām on the road until Monday so Iāll give it a try when I get home. You will probably have more time in it than me by then though .
