But yes, a very nice start this time. Not only the setup in place for most stuff, but also got some fields down, and 33k corn in the silo.

Placing this here for future reference, in case our farm needs such utility for hauling seed or fertilizer. The cheapest trailer in the shop can be configured with no sidewalls, making a flatbed. It comes with tie-down straps to secure the load, and I was easily able to load seed with the front pallet loader. Effective and cheap.
Tested on my single player save, BTW.

Yep that works for many trailers. Good if you just need a few bags of seeds or fertilizer.
Ok, so I weeded the small field, and sowed Soy in the one next door. It’s ready for weeding now.
I also took that 32k of corn harvested last night, and sold it for $27k. Not bad!

Chicken coop is up and running! Egg profits here we come.
Farm area also looking sweet. Some overhead lighting installed at the yard so we can see at night. I think we’re getting to the point where we need to just bring in some money so we can expand. We’ve got the equipment we need now (including a much bigger plow because that was taking forever!!) So yay!

Shrinking field 18 was worth it, and maybe could even be shurnk a touch more, if we need the room. Once we expand (maybe to field 10) someday, we can push field 18 back out to full size and gain back that extra crop.
I was compelled to stop in and check… there is already a crate of eggs in one of the palettes we put there!

Not a bad play session last night. We probably took in $40k profit, or so, IIRC.
so… little lesson. Use the filters in the order of stuff you need to do, because some of them take priority in the wrong order.
18 showed harvested status, so I plowed it. When I checked map to make sure I didn’t miss spots (it’s night), the whole thing says it needs lime now…
That being said, I checked google (because I do NOT want to have to plow/cultivate that again), and it seems it doesn’t matter, it’ll just look funny. We can apply the lime, then fert, then sow, then fert again no problem.
Where are these filters for the order? I need to check that out.
And yea, IIRC, a couple sessions ago, saghen did the lime application, then plowed it in before seeding. So I had presumed that was the correct order (to mix in the lime).
At least the crop grew, anyway!
