I’m definitely a “cleaner” cook. When I cook, I keep the kitchen orderly and clean as I go. When the meal is ready, most of the time the trash is put away, the debris cleaned up, and the prep dishes are in the dishwasher. When my wife cooks (and she is a better cook), the kitchen is a disaster area afterward…but the food is delicious…so obviously she is putting the efforts into the right places.
