I wonder if those pylons under the wings can be jettisoned like we can do in the DCS F-5E3?

Something about it in the close ups just looks awesome. Just from a technology standpoint. ‘Murica!!!

Wow. That was gorgeous. Brittany is beautiful. And well…the Rafale…one of the prettiest planes in the sky.

I will admit that it definitely looks curvier and sexier than the more utilitarian/spartan Euro fighter.

But still not as sexy as the :a6:.

Marine Hornet pilot making a barricade arrested landing on the Nimitz after the nose gear fails to deploy, circa 1997. The pilot also mentions only have 300 lbs of gas left while in the pattern just before his landing. :astonished:

That’s not a lot of fuel! I liked the almost cheerfully nonchalant “roger that”.

That was a fantastic video. I’ve never seen actual footage of buccaneer naval ops. Thanks for sharing it!

I want that very sweet british LSO lol! And an island full of upper class twats discussing wether you should go home or not  Loved the “jolly good haha let’s go around one more time old boy” way of doing things.

I heard them call something like “archer” at times… what does that mean?

Johnny “The Body” Cushing was a buddy of mine in Reactor on the Reagan. Got picked up STA-21, and flew Rhinos with VFA-2 until just a few months ago. He just posted this link on his Facebook page yesterday.

Happy 75th D Day Anniversary everyone. There are a bunch of Dakotas over Normandy video on YT, some originating at Duxford. Great stuff. I thought this one a little different and interesting, because it goes into the preparation and training for the trip and event.
