Dude, the number of subreddits I’ve gotten banned from…

Including from my Alma Mater because I know the admin personally, and he just doesn’t like me. It’s a strange place.

That’s why I am mostly, not totally, OK with opinions

I think you should be forced to at the very least watch the movie Gaslight or preferably hold a psychology degree before you’re allowed to say someone is “gaslighting”

Yes! I so hate the use of phrases and terms that have lost all meaning through misuse. Irregardless (jk) life goes on.

I preferred the previous term of “bullsh*tting.”

considering the material on the reddit in question.

And the fact that the comment that finally got me banned apparently was that:
“M2M’s Contract w/ RB was over after the F-15E, he was one foot out the door regardless, Losing Smiley and G are huge blows, 3D Artists are a dime a dozen”.

Apparently that was mis-information. But Its whatever. I know why I was truly banned.
My legal team is looking into a course of action and I’ll leave it at that. :-).

It’s funny how people on the outside assume they know what’s going on, and believe every drop of honey that’s posted by angry developers.

The “No one is allowed to be better than ED” crap is comical at best, because HB does it regularly.

As I’ve said before, I see the devs point of view, but their hate is being mis-directed.

They did their job, they fulfilled their obligations to RazBAM.
Their boss however, violated contract terms, which we’ll leave details as to what was breached out of this.

So being the Boss / CEO of the company, that was notified MONTHS ago about the breach and with held payout. The Boss allowed employees to continue working, knowing that the contract payment was being with held, and did not secure alternate funding to pay those employees. Whether he notified the employees or not, is conjecture.

At the end of the day, a Corporation has the right to with hold contract payouts if they believe the contract is breached, this happens all the time, so I don’t understand why when ED does it it’s considered bad business and front page news, it literally happens all the time. Most companies call it contract auditing. If no one looks into terms and the contracted parties to ensure the terms are being met, then UDAAP business practices emerge, as contracted companies will unknowingly or knowingly breach contract terms.

While its frustrating to not get paid, and affects everyday life for the developers, to go after ED for suspending payment is the equivalent of PEPSI Delivery Drivers going after Walmart for not paying PEPSI, which caused PEPSI to not pay the drivers.

In the end of the discussion, whomever your contract is with, is who’s supposed to pay you.

These developers don’t have direct contracts with ED, RB Has a Contract with ED, the Developers have a contract with RB. RB is supposed to pay them, failure to pay the Devs is 100% on RB, considering the duration the development continued after RB was notified of the contract breach.

Whether RB’s employees know the whole story or not, is also conjecture, But I assume they don’t as they blindly post in RBs defense, but at the end of the day, business practices by RB show, if the employee’s weren’t getting their pay for months, what else is RB with holding from them.

Speaking of the subreddit in question…

Edit. Image removed by Troll

I’m surprised employees are still talking about this after all the last brouhaha. You’d think there would have been an internal discussion at the behest of the lawyers to stop openly talking about this while things are being sorted.

Doesn’t help when you got people being deceptive and phishing for information.

You obviously have your priorities properly orientated :joy:.

Considering one of the biggest things that gets people put in prison, sometimes even capital cases, is the inability to shut up, I’m not surprised people are still talking when it’s civil and they’re not subpoenaed yet.

hard to have an internal company meeting when they verbally resigned.,
and RB cant say that they wont pay them if they dont be quiet, because they already havent been paid for 10 months.

People,

I refer to my earlier post on the matter.

I have removed screenshots of discussions on other fora for reasons outlined in my explanation earlier.

Apologies, I either didn’t see that or forgot. I won’t do it again.

No worries, Nuke!
I may have paranoia, but I think we better refrain from copy/pasting stuff that may come back and bite us. Also, I wouldn’t want people posting our discussions elswhere, so… Luckily we’re too civil and boring.

Fora is plural for forum? Cool! If this thread gives me nothing else…
