I think that’s mostly due to how poorly the AI handles A2A engagements. A human would try to exploit its acceleration and speed. Here’s what a pilot who flew it during constant peg had to say about it:
Not this variant. That was the MiG-27K, Flogger-J2.
I demand trial by lawyer fisticuffs.
Hmm… This looks like something is moved into the spotlight to force a resolution.
Has previously affected Heatblur…? What was that? Are they not getting paid?
If I had to guess, I’d say it’s about ED’s cut from module sales.
Could be… I can’t remember any issues with Heatblur, in this regard. But maybe it never surfaced.
I’m very curious why Razbam brought Heatblur into a personal dispute…not very professional in my opinion
Interesting, similar to other third party murmurings that have been circulating for a couple of months now.
Deeply disappointing too as the strike eagle needs some fixes soon.
Typical Zambrano drama. They make great modules, but I don’t think I’d be hanging out with them in the pub. I bet this is part of a negotiation. Rile up the pubbies to get more clout at the negotiation table.
Duck this shirt.
Does have that smell, but who knows what’s what?
Following the message published by Ron Zambrano of Razbam Simulations, we believe that it is necessary to rectify some of the unfounded allegations and to reassure the Community that everything is being done to resolve the current situation promptly and for the benefit of all concerned.
Without entering into the details of matters that are confidential to the parties, we firmly reject the allegations that the current disagreement between Eagle Dynamics and Razbam Simulations would be as stated by Razbam “due to circumstances completely beyond our control" and that it is “a situation that Razbam Simulations did not seek”.
On the contrary, the current disagreement is the result of improper actions that have been taken by Razbam Simulations, in breach of its contractual obligations towards our company and of our legally protected IP rights, and for which we are seeking a reasonable and forward-looking commercial outcome rather than entertaining legal claims.
We very much regret that Ron Zambrano has decided, without even pre-advising us, to make these disparaging public statements and, more importantly, to take the customers of the Razbam developed aircraft as leverage in the discussions with us.
Please rest assured, we are addressing the situation with the utmost attention and constructiveness.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Nick Grey
I hope they get their shirts worked out and things can go back to bizz as usual. Duck Ron for going public with this. Bad show all around.
This should be intresting to see play out.
Some “fun” drama on Hoggit. Lots of tinfoil hats.
Not sure why Razbaam felt the need to include Heatblur.
Hope we dont have another Hawk T1 module on our hands.
Yep, taking it public like this is very unprofessional and leaves a sour taste. No one needs drama like this.
Name-dropping another developer is also a big nono in my book. Especially since nothing ever surfaced to the public from either Heatblur or ED.
Jesus.

I just hope they can resolve their differences somehow despite how it looks right now. The aircraft razbam developed so far are really good and they have done some real magic with the Strike Eagles radar.
It’s just sad that they started drama like this and I hope they don’t burn all bridges. That would be extremely disappointing.
I have been a fan of Razbam’s work since the FSX days, I have not been a fan of them as personalities or their antics for about that long as well. If they aren’t being paid, they have a legitimate issue. If they feel they should be paid more, etc, than this is definitely an issue that should have been behind closed doors. Also I think they largely shot themselves in the foot in the DCS space, as I suspect many people will be very leery about purchasing from them again unless it turns out they are truly not being paid as per contract by ED.
These rumblings have been going around the community for months now. From multiple devs. No one wants to come out and say the real issue but it’s been hinted at for a while.
Indeed, considering how much more devastating this would be. Zambrano is a three ring circus on his own, but the team has managed to put out several modules. At least VEAO was almost always viewed as a trainwreck by the majority and only ever had one release.
This could be serious. I’ve got quite a few problems with RAZBAM, but this seems to affect others. We spend well above standard game MSRP for addons under the auspice of this going to small teams of enthusiast developers pouring countless hours into creating accurate depictions of complex machines.
To suggest that the teams aren’t getting a fair cut is worrying.
Addendum:
I must know more before I can draw any conclusion and encourage everyone else to do much the same. I’ll not be journeying down the garbage disposal unit of video game conspiracy theories crafted by manchildren with way too much time on their hands.
The facts are that Zambrano is a known bad faith actor in the past, but CPT_Smiley not so much to my knowledge. Even if this were just Zambrano’s claim, this is a serious claim. As a die-hard union man, I’m not one to stand by and watch labor go uncompensated, either. I’d like to hear clarification from one of the other Third Parties that have had issues in the past.
This is a concern that ED should take seriously and address the community to assuage these concerns. We’re paying inordinate amounts of money, well about MSRP for a video game, for these products under the inclination that the enthusiasts developers making these detailed products are compensated fairly.
