Also you can check the TDC displacement vs the BE (WP 1 in this sample). The values given are 16 NM at 260º bearing from the BE. Taking into account that the bearing is oriented towards the geographical north and that the aircraft has a heading of 25º, a quick check shows that the TDC cross is located at 260º from the WP1 cross, at about 16 NM on the VTB scale.
Good for videos or machinima. If only we were getting new Bill et John, or the French Starsky and Hutch series I remember seeing back in the LOMAC days.
Same here! Looking forward to this … maybe one of the only campaigns that I play. I know, I know. I have to get off my arse and play those but multiplayer! Someone else to blame!
I’ve had the chance to help test it, and it’s the best campaign for DCS that I’ve seen so far. Voice acting, story, and gorgeous vista’s really bring out the skills of Razbam and Baltic Dragon!
Note that I’ve only played campaigns that came with modules, so perhaps Red Flag or The Museum Relic is better but I cannot judge that!

##SELECTIVE JETTISON now works as emergency bomb release.
This means that you can drop MK-82, MK-82S, GBUs and BAP-100s either inert or armed, based on the fuse setting in the PPA. Other PPA settings are ignored. Bombs will be released from the aircraft as soon as you press the trigger and for as long as you keep the trigger pressed.
This means that you can drop armed GBUs when using a JTAC without the need to do a CCRP lock.
Cluster bombs CANNOT be jettisoned with SELECTIVE JETTISON.
For other weapons and drop tanks, SELECTIVE JETTISON have not changed.
This means that you can drop armed GBUs when using a JTAC without the need to do a CCRP lock.
So I can set two laser codes, have two JTACs lasing two different (but close) targets with different codes at the same time, and hit those two simultaneously?
I’m unreasonably annoyed that people think this is how you should release a weapon without some sort of grievous mechanical or electrical fault that otherwise disrupts the SMS.
