We’d love to be done procreating, but after two girls my woman has yet to procure for me a son…
And it stays more or less centered. Needs some adjusting.

Haha I’m in the same situation as you (well, girl #2 on the way) but I think we are done - about 90% sure we are not in for another gamble and risk three girls
We thought that way…and ended up with three daughters
Jesus doesn’t hate me that much
Wow you really love your daughters, do you?
It’s more about whether I’d love a hypothetical third isn’t it?
Got a 34” ultrawide screen on the weekend. Sure, it’s no VR…but it’s definitely better than the 24” I used to fly with!
Noice!
Slightly curved, it seems?
That’s what I had, pre VR, and it was awesome!

@Troll Yep, it’s this one - it was on special and should work quite well for document editing too.
Now I have the screen - I’ll just need to start pestering you for engineering solutions to make the rest of the sim pit work and fold away like yours
The Mid-Life-Extension on my simpit is complete:
Ditched the forward cage on the obutto, built the wooden platform to match the height of the new built in desk. New setup allows accommodating the recently acquired Honeycomb controls
I got so jealous of you guys with your fancy Honeycomb units that I tried a long dead Saitek Pro Yoke + Throttle Quadrant of mine that I bought over a decade ago. For some reason it died some years ago (under my Windows 7 system anyway). Back then I tried everything to get it to work but the OS just refused to recognize the device!
Fast forward to 2021 … plugged it into my Windows 10 system and it works like a champ LOL! …
I had to thrust my throttle back and forth very vigorously for about fifty strokes but its working smooth now!
New and improved simpit. Due to my wife having to work from home a lot, we swapped the master bed room and the office. The old setup did not leave enough room for her to use the whole desk.
And it’s Christmas all year too!
I thought that might help the tracking for the headset. It also makes the pit less of a junkyard and more of a cosy cubby for good times.
That’s what I thought.
Does it help? Initially (like a year or so ago) my O+/WMR headset would have the odd little ‘hitch’. Hasn’t been an issue in some time (nothing else changed), but I like the idea. The wife will love it.
It don’t hurt. And I want the thing to track the same during the day and during the night. I have not tried it without the lights very much, I strung 'em up the 2nd night after I moved the simpit.
That setup looks to actually give you more breathing room, no?
